Friendly welcome, Rooms are very comfortable and cosy. Bed is comfortable, feather duvets and pillows, quality bedding. We had room 5 at the side of the pub in the more modern part. Think this was quieter than the front rooms (but village road is quiet at night.). All meals were excellent and staff very amenable to personal food choices. We ate in the pub in the evenings, plenty of choice, though menu didn’t vary while we were there. Dog friendly 👍. Staff were all great and willingly shared their local knowledge. Bus X3 has stops nearby for easy access to Canterbury and Faversham. We would happily stay there again.

Beautifully appointed apartment with secluded courtyard garden. Very comfortable and roomy. Sam the host was very accommodating and communicative. Private off street parking was great. Very well situated for the harbour and Harbour Street’s lovely shops, restaurants and cafes and the High Street as well as the seafront and Tankerton.

Fort Road Hotel está en Margate, a pocos pasos de The Bay Beach, y dispone de terraza, habitaciones libres de humo, wifi gratis y bar. A beautifully designed and thought out hotel. Bonus of no television in the room. What a fantastic idea. Plenty of interesting books, and information about the area. Perfect location and I had a super sea view. The team are amazing. A really personal experience. The continental breakfast was excellent quality and plenty of it. Can’t fault this hotel.
