Offering a barbecue, Manolis Studios Thassos is set in Skála Kallirákhis, 28 km from Kavala. Potos is 12 km from the property. The accommodation is air conditioned and has a TV with satellite... This is a quiet and cozy family hotel right on the seafront, with a small private beach. The grounds are well-kept: flowers in pots, greenery, and inviting corners for relaxation. The room was small but comfortable, with everything needed for storage and a kitchenette with a basic set of dishes. If you plan to cook, it’s better to bring your own frying pan, some essentials, a sponge, and dishwashing liquid — everything is available in the shared kitchen, but not very convenient to use. I was given a room with a side sea view. On Booking, a direct frontal view was advertised, so this came as a disappointment. The roof partially blocked the view and made it difficult to fully enjoy the scenery. A special mention goes to the host, Manolis. He radiates true Greek hospitality and kindness, which makes the atmosphere even warmer and more welcoming. On the premises, there is a barbecue area with a dining space overlooking the sea, a freshwater shower, and a separate spot to rinse your feet so you don’t bring sand into the room. Pets are allowed, and nearby olive groves make for a great place to walk them. The nearest taverna is a 5-minute walk away: simple but with tasty homemade Greek food. The town is about a 10-minute walk (1–4 minutes by car). A bit further, on the way out of the village, is the fish taverna “Klizma,” which I also recommend. You can reach the town either by road or through the olive groves and villas — the path is longer, but much more pleasant. Overall, this is a place for those who value peace, the closeness of the sea, and the simple Greek atmosphere without unnecessary noise.
