Tia was incredibly helpful and the people in general who work for Rambai and within Bukit Lawang are so so lovely. She helped sort us out with a guide to go and see the Oragutans and we managed to see 8 of them in one day. The guides are knowledgeable, interesting and passionate giving a wonderful overall experience. The food was exceptional and Tia is a phenomenal cook, always providing us with delicious fresh fruit afterwards. The location was exceptional, right on the edge of the National Park and with the roaring sound of the river outside, it was big, clean and comfortable. When we arrived we were greeted by Thomas Leaf monkeys on our porch, it was truly magical and I would recommend this place in a heart beat.

The owner and staff are super kind and welcoming. The apartment was so functional--I can see why it can also be rented long-term. Favorite thing was probably the hammock and view of the lake, as well as the convenience of the vegetarian restaurant!

Imposible separar la estancia en el hotel, que en mi caso fue muy agradable, con la experiencia del trekking en la jungla, que fue realmente maravillosa. El hotel es sencillo, pero muy confortable, con todo lo necesario para sentirte a gusto. Obiwan se preocupa por todo, desde el principio hasta el final. Si además tenéis la suerte de contar con los servicios del guía Firman en la jungla, como fue mi caso, entonces seguro que la experiencia será insuperable, porque él no solamente te ayudará a ver orangutanes sino a sentir y entender la jungla. Gracias Firman, lo pasé genial, no te olvidaré! 🙏 Ah! y no os perdáis el rafting. Deseando repetir!

Playgrounds Sabbit Mentawai Surfcamp se encuentra en Pulau Masokut y ofrece jardín, salón de uso común y bar. Se ofrece traslado para ir o volver del aeropuerto. I was very happy with how close it is to that water and the boats are moored right out front. Food was different every meal, a mix of Spanish meals and Indonesian and also some Italian. Paco was super helpful organising our fast ferry over there and back, the staff were legends too. Would recommend anyone to stay here.
