The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing.

Rambai Tree Jungle Lodges - Family Friendly ligger i Bukit Lawang och erbjuder boende med trädgård, terrass och massagebehandlingar samt gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. Första intrycket var: Wow! Så fint! Här kan jag stanna hur länge som helst. Stor säng, myggnät som sänghimmel. Det var rent, snyggt och mysigt. Att rummet är underbart var bara bonus, för det bästa med boendet var personalen. Tia hjälpte oss med allt från tvätt, mat, transport och alltid med ett leende på läpparna. Underbar människa. Jag ville inte lämna Rambai Tree Jungle Lodges.

Asim Paris Guesthouse & jungle trekking ligger i Bukit Lawang och har en trädgård, en egen strand, en terrass och en restaurang. Utöver conciergeservice har detta boende även en grill. The family room was spacious and aircon runs cold. Although there isn't hot water for shower, the staff brought us buckets of hot water each day, and that was adequate to bathe my child. They also arranged the jungle trek for us, we were able to trek directly from the guest house. It's also located very close to the bat cave, 10-mins walk and we highly recommend visiting these caves, and with a local guide hired at the entrance. Without the guide we wouldn't have known where to go.

The apartment is really large with a full kitchen and fridge. The fan is all you need and we did not have any issues with mosquitos. It is so quiet at night since it is quite far down the side of the hill from the road. The hammock right in front of the lake is so peaceful. The food from the restaurant is delicious!!! Absolutely great place to come home to after a big day of exploring.

The river, the views!! We all loved the placed and we will absolutely come back, the stuff was super nice and the activities we did were amazing!!! Our tour guide was very gentle, helping us with everything we need it, the tour to see the orangutans was a dream come true and the hike we did even though was very difficult ( we choose the difficult path) it was so magical no one want it to finish, we decide to choose a tour were we sleep in the jungle for one night and we just wish that we could’ve stay more, there were monkeys everywhere we were so high in the mountains that we can see the clouds near us, a totally mystical experience. Thank you all we will keep this places for ever in our hearts

Playgrounds Sabbit Mentawai Surfcamp i Pulau Masokut erbjuder boende med en trädgård, en gemensam lounge och en bar. Personalen på plats kan ordna flygplatstransfer. I was very happy with how close it is to that water and the boats are moored right out front. Food was different every meal, a mix of Spanish meals and Indonesian and also some Italian. Paco was super helpful organising our fast ferry over there and back, the staff were legends too. Would recommend anyone to stay here.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Frenkie’s villa in Krui. The place was beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly set up for a relaxing holiday. But what made our time extra special was the kindness and thoughtfulness of Frenkie and his wife. They surprised me with a cake and doughnuts for my birthday, which was such a heartwarming gesture and made me feel incredibly welcome and cared for. I’m so grateful for their generosity—it really made the experience unforgettable. I couldn’t recommend this villa and these amazing hosts enough. Thank you, Frenkie!
