A rural location with beautiful surroundings, this was a 'granny flat' style apartment on an adjacent property. Well kept and clean, it had a kitchen, living and bedroom space on main floor with en suite bathroom, and additional beds and bathroom upstairs. We were only a couple, but could easily sleep a large family or two couples plus a few kids. Owners were very responsive to messages, and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Moyglare has been beautifully restored to its former glory, with exquisite gardens, which we were invited to explore. Our flat was cozy and comfortable, and interestingly decorated. But it has been modernized and updated with modern appliances. We especially loved the conservatory—it was so inviting we hardly wanted to leave. A generous selection of breakfast items awaited us, including coffee, milk, eggs, muesli, butter, bread, oranges, bananas, and other thoughtful sundries; we lacked for nothing. Angela (a leading expert in Irish furniture) and Malcolm, who have both researched and cultivated a deep knowledge of Moyglare House, gave us a fascinating and memorable tour of the manor. It is conveniently located just outside Maynooth. Maynooth has plenty of grocery stores, shopping, pubs, and restaurants, with easy access to Dublin by train or car.
