Opened in June 2018, Hotel 1001 Nott offers modern accommodation 5 km from Egilsstadir. The hotel features outdoor hot tubs overlooking Lake Lagarfljót. There is also an on-site bar. Absolutely amazing. The accommodation is beautiful, set next to the lake and mountains. Perfect views and magical sunset/sunrise. The dinner was one of the best I have ever had. Breakfast was also delicious. Truly a wonderful property and would highly highly recommend.

Boasting a garden, Krákhamar Apartments provides accommodation in Djúpivogur area with free WiFi and sea views. With mountain views, this accommodation features a terrace. The farm and surrounding fjord and landscape was amazing - I really wasn’t expecting it. Very beautiful to wander around that evening and on the morning. Facilities were good and they even had filter coffee and tea available.

This hostel is located on Berunes farm by the Ring Road and is 45 km from the village of Djúpivogur. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, and lounges. Free WiFi is available. Location!!! Extreamly beautiful spot! I wish we stayed there longer!

At the hotel, rooms have a wardrobe and a flat-screen TV.... The staff was very kind. Nice and clean room with TV, Netflix, comfy bed and enough towels. The breakfast with view was amazing. Food was tasty and good quality, same with beverages. We could check in after midnight.

I'm confident to say that this is my absolute favorite stay in Iceland. And I've been to this country 10+ times.

Hosts were lovely, gave us a lot of recommendations and told us a lot about Iceland. They were very helpful letting us checking in late after a long drive. The place is clean and nice and they really think about every little detail! Highly recommended!

Located in Seyðisfjörður and only 3.9 km from Gufufoss, Apartment Tungata provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. This apartment features a garden. The location was exactly where I wanted to be, within walking distance to the shops and restaurants. There was plenty of free street parking right in front of the apartment, which is on the second floor. It was self check-in, so we were able to relax and make many stops on our road trip without worrying about arriving too late. We were driving up from the Skaftafell area (about 5-6 hours away) and made many stops, as well as stopping to enjoy Vök Baths in Egilsstaðir. I love visiting Seyðisfjörður, and I will always choose this apartment if I can. It was perfect. I just wish we stayed multiple nights! The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen is lovely and well equipped, the bathroom was very nice. Everything about it was great, and our group was very comfortable. There was so much space! The washer and dryer was a wonderful addition and very helpful. I had planned our trip so that 4 days in we would have a washer/dryer to get our clothes refreshed. I wished we could have run the washer and dryer simultaneously, but it was not possible due to the fuse, so it took extra time to do laundry. Kristin, our hostess, was very kind and let us know we could check out late, so we were able to finish our laundry. Kristin was lovely!! I enjoyed talking with her. She very helpful and responsive through messaging as well.

Great place to stay in Lake Myvatn area. This is a small village with great view and not far away to Cayon Stuðlagil. Good breakfast. Very nice and interesting Viking long house style building. Big room and comfy beddings. Wifi not very good but still usable.
