Featuring free bikes, garden and views of mountain, Tajimi Guest House is located in Tajimi, 33 km from Oasis 21. A hot spring bath is available for guests. This was the most welcoming stay in Japan that I experienced. We came in the evening and the host provided us a ride to a nearby mall to eat and the big spa facility where we could spend time for free using a coupon that they gave us. Breakfast was also very good. Nice place

Hidden away in nature, this place is perfect to disconnect and recharge. The futon bed was incredibly comfortable, and the hosts were so kind and welcoming. A truly wonderful stay, peaceful, authentic, and full of charm.

It was a very well renovated 150year old traditional Japanese house. Facilities inside are fully modern especially the kitchen, shower toilet, heating and cooling systems, lighting. The beds and futons were all clean and v comfortable. The host, Ken Ito San, introduced us to the house especially as foreigners we needed some tips. He also helped us book dinner at an izakaya called Yasohachi nearby. Superb meal there by Chef Takahashi. We enjoyed the clean crisp country air and the starry skies. Definitely re stay if in this area.

While it’s not right in the thick of the most crowded tourist areas, it’s still close enough to get around by walking or hopping on a bus easily. Best of all, this location gives you plenty more chances to dive into real local life.

Set in Kani, A home Happytown6 is a recently renovated accommodation, 38 km from Oasis 21 and 41 km from Nagoya Station. Having our own mini house compared to just a hotel room made such a difference in our stay. It was clean, very cozy and felt like home straight away. The interior design is really cool. Equipped with all the necessary furniture and utensils. Originally I was a bit worried about the futon beds, but it turned out to be quite a nice experience sleeping closer to the floor. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious which was also really appreciated.

The drive up to the house was absolutely beautiful and set the tone for a wonderful stay. From the moment we arrived, the home felt incredibly cozy and welcoming—truly like a home away from home. The river running alongside the property added to the peaceful atmosphere and offered stunning, tranquil views. The hosts were absolutely lovely and went above and beyond by preparing a delicious home-cooked meal for our family upon arrival. The fireplace was already lit, creating a warm and inviting space, and the outdoor spa was hot and ready for us to enjoy. We were lucky enough to experience snowfall on our second day, which made the stay feel truly magical. I cannot recommend this home highly enough and would absolutely suggest it to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing family getaway.
