I had one of the best birthdays of my adult life here! I stopped writing reviews but it would be a disservice not to rate this glampsite. The tent was spacious and high, the toilets were clean, the food was divine, and the customer service おもてなし was impeccable. I was exhausted from work, stressed, jaded by city life, eating poorly and sleeping badly. I am so grateful to unwind in such a gorgeous location surrounded by nature and kindness. I recommend bringing crocks or sturdy slip-on outdoor shoes, especially for the toilet. I also suggest bringing earplugs if you wake easily to bird noise. I also recommend the venison stew, the cassis orange, and the apple pie. To the company, I know hot water is provided in a thermos but I would definitely rent a mini kettle if you had one available. All in all, a fantastic experience especially after two awful group camping trips. ありがとうございました！

The rooms are large, the coffee and food are delicious, and the hotel is peaceful. It's very pleasant and comfortable. The staff is attentive and friendly. I liked the Japanese bath. The hotel is only three minutes from the sea. I loved it.

Tetsu-san and his wife Eva are exceptional. Tetsu is a really helpful and thoughtful host. He introduced me to the best acupuncturist who has done wonders for me with just 2 visits. The house has everything you need and is a 2 minute walk to the Enoden line. I loved my stay and will be back again!

GrapeHouse Koenji har en god beliggenhed i Nakano Ward-distriktet i Tokyo. Det ligger 5 minutters gang fra Keimei Park, mindre end 1 km fra Yamato Park og 8 minutters gang fra Mabashi Park. So clean, they clean everyday and it’s always spotless. The host is so lovely. Her dog is so cute and friendly too! Sometimes he’ll greet you at the door, this meant so much to me especially when I was missing my dog at home. The neighborhood is AMAZING. I love Koenji so much. A perfect, calm getaway from the city with still plenty of things to do. Great restaurants, thrifting, karaoke, parks, and Japanese vibes. Also Nakano is a 20 min walk away and they have a mall with Uniqlo and everything else you’d need. It’s easy to meet other people and make friends! Women-only was awesome and made me feel really safe. I can’t wait to go back and spend my entire Japan trip here. I shouldn’t have bothered with any other hotels. Nothing compares to Grapehouse Koenji!

Set within a historic Japanese garden, Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo offers spacious rooms with garden or city views and free Wi-Fi. The last night of our honeymoon and I couldn't have chosen a better place. A bit out the way but absolutely worth it, a sensational place with amazing staff and a spectacular garden.
