The breakfast was terrific just make sure you come on time or at the time you let staff know the day before you will come at! Also the prime location next to the station.

Uotoshi Ryokan har en god beliggenhed i Yudanaka Onsen-distriktet i Yamanouchi. Det ligger 10 km fra Ryuoo Skipark, 22 km fra Suzaka Zoo og 28 km fra Zenkō-ji-templet. The place is super authentic - it feels like stepping someone's home rather than a touristic establishment. If you are looking for such a feeling, then this one is the right place. It is technically a bit messy and full of staff, in general it looks a bit dated, but it all adds to the charm and - since everything works perfectly anyway - it is all positive to me The owner is such a great guy - he was very nice to us, even offering us a ride to the Snow Monkey Park, and in general explaining us a lot about the food or some cultural aspects. He speaks great English by the way The location is good, an easy walk to the train station and the public onsen, as well as a 15-minute walk to Shibu Onsen The food was so delicious - generous portions, good quality, great focus on fish

つるや旅館 ligger i Yamanouchi, 4,1 km fra Jigokudani Abepark og 11 km fra Ryuoo Skipark. Værelserne har aircondition og et fælles badeværelse. We had such a lovely and peaceful stay here. the staff were amazing, especially Toku-Chan :) we were worried about catching an early local train (and it was snowing), but they kindly offered us a free shuttle to the station so we didn’t have to walk. We honestly couldn’t thank them enough. The sweet cake they gave us at check-out was such a nice surprise, and we really enjoyed the onsen. The traditional ryokan room was beautifully kept, very clean, and super peaceful. We would definitely come back if we visit Yamanouchi again 🤍
