The best part was the hotel also provided the shuttle to the station after we were back from the Snow Monkey Park. Very thoughtful and we were very appreciative of the great service provided.

We had such a lovely and peaceful stay here. the staff were amazing, especially Toku-Chan :) we were worried about catching an early local train (and it was snowing), but they kindly offered us a free shuttle to the station so we didn’t have to walk. We honestly couldn’t thank them enough. The sweet cake they gave us at check-out was such a nice surprise, and we really enjoyed the onsen. The traditional ryokan room was beautifully kept, very clean, and super peaceful. We would definitely come back if we visit Yamanouchi again 🤍
