The staff were very kind and helpful, always willing to solve our inquiries. They provided us a map to ease our journey around the town. They also dropped us off at Snow Monkey Park and they took us to Yudanaka Station the check out day.

Located within 4.7 km of Jigokudani Monkey Park and 10 km of Ryuoo Ski Park in Yamanouchi, Rakki OnsenRyokan 楽奇温泉旅館 provides accommodation with seating area. The staff was very friendly and incredibly helpful. The room was cozy and traditional. I felt very comfortable while staying here.

Set in Yamanouchi, 10 km from Ryuoo Ski Park, Uotoshi Ryokan offers accommodation with a hot spring bath. Offering free private parking, the 2-star ryokan is 4.4 km from Jigokudani Monkey Park. The man running the Ryokan is incredibly kind, caring, welcoming, and friendly. I genuinely felt like I was at home. The Ryokan has a lovely homey atmosphere, and the bathhouse was really nice! The breakfast was delicious! He also offered to drive us to the snow monkeys, which was very kind of him and greatly appreciated. I loved my stay and would 100% stay here again!!

Absolutely loved this property. The staff were unbelievably kind and helpful, even through the language barrier. The room was an AMAZING Japanese-style ryokan room. The onsens were clean and wonderfully warm. The location was outstanding and I loved every minute here. I wish I had been able to extend my stay!
