The view is decent, even though you can’t see much of the surrounding atmosphere, but it didn’t affect the overall experience. What truly stands out is the excellent service and the comfort of the stay. Overall, I highly recommend Blue Sky Guest House & Restaurant for anyone visiting Nallathnniya!

Perched on top of a hill, watching the town wake up each morning was beautiful. The cabin is designed brilliantly, keeps so cosy and warm, the beds were so comfy and being snuggled up was perfect in the cool weather. Literally feel like you could be anywhere in the world. Don’t forget to hot shower, so good. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome. Offering best local spots to eat and directions for each of our activities, and an endless supply of tea and coffee. The breakfast was huge and with an option for either English or traditional Sri Lankan (go the Sri Lankan!).
