Very friendly staff, arranged a tuk-tuk for me from Hatton station and back. Both drivers showed me exceptional places for photos, stopped along the way and gave me time to take photos and enjoy the beautiful view. the rooms are excellent for this price range, there is hot water and everything you need, everything is clean. Located in a couple of hundred meters from the start of the trail to Adam's Peak, the climb took only about 2 hours 15 minutes. Happy with everything - definitely would recommend it. Sorry for photos of the wild, didn’t take any picture at the hotel, was in a little hurry.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at this hotel. The room was clean with a comfortable king-size bed and reliable hot water. As we were traveling with our small dog, their pet-friendly policy was a big plus for us. The owner was exceptionally kind and thoughtful. He went out of his way to support our hike up Adam's Peak by leaving us a pack with sandwiches, coffee, bananas, and even flashlights and raincoats! It was a very pleasant and unexpected gesture. The included breakfasts were delicious, and we also enjoyed the available meals and complimentary tea. Just a note: the room was a bit cool, but that's normal for the mountains, so just pack accordingly. We highly recommend this place

This spot is an absolute secret gem! Perched on top of a hill, watching the town wake up each morning was beautiful. The cabin is designed brilliantly, keeps so cosy and warm, the beds were so comfy and being snuggled up was perfect in the cool weather. Literally feel like you could be anywhere in the world. Don’t forget to hot shower, so good. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome. Offering best local spots to eat and directions for each of our activities, and an endless supply of tea and coffee. The breakfast was huge and with an option for either English or traditional Sri Lankan (go the Sri Lankan!).

It was an amazing experience in Nuga Retreat. Everything was perfect. Meals were good. Specially the view is breathtaking. Will come back again. Thank you!
