It’s Clean, Neat and the Owners are so Welcoming ! The space itself is lovely and very homely whilst still being elegant and chic ! I would definitely recommend it and go back there in the future.

This is a small family-run hotel just a short walk from the centre of Colombo. It was economical, which made it perfect for exploring the city without spending a lot on accommodation. The owner and his family made the place feel like home. They were warm and helpful — when my booked airport car didn’t show, they stepped in, contacted the driver, and sorted everything so I didn’t miss my flight. They also loved sharing local traditions that helped me discover the country’s magic. My room was clean and elegant, decorated with traditional touches. But the real highlight for me was the food. As a vegetarian, I was worried about finding suitable meals in a country I’d only just arrived in. The owner always prepared thoughtful, tasty dishes based on my preferences. It made a huge difference. If you want a convenient, budget-friendly base in Colombo with genuine hospitality and great home-cooked food, this place is a lovely choice.

Located within 7.2 km of Bambalapitiya Railway Station and 13 km of Khan Clock Tower, Mount Lodge Boutique Hotel offers rooms in Mount Lavinia. Even though it was 2am, Mohamed welcomed us with passion fruit drinks and showed us to our rooms. He also made us a delicious breakfast the next morning. We wish we had stayed longer, but it was the perfect overnight stop on our way to our next destination!

Located in Mount Lavinia, Colombo Mount Hostel features a garden. The accommodation provides evening entertainment and a shared lounge. This place is wonderful! It is new this December, and the owners have put so much effort into making it an enjoyable place and that is conducive to a peaceful stay and a community atmosphere. The facilities are clean and comfortable, and the location is right next to a lovely beach (great place to be for sunset). The breakfast is fantastic, and there are plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces to spend time, do work, or talk to other people in the hostel. Arjuna the owner is very friendly and helpful, and goes above and beyond to make sure visitors are happy and comfortable. I would enthusiastically recommend Colombo Mount Hostel for anyone looking for a peaceful and fun stay in the Colombo area.

Set in Kalapaluwawa and only 8.7 km from R Premadasa Stadium, New Colombo Village offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Everyone was very friendly, we had a nice clean room with air conditioning and a lovely view.

The house is absolutely beautiful, the food is amazing and the location really quiet, but not to far from the center. They will make their best to make you feel at home. They have everything you might ever want.

A recently renovated property, Parkside Colombo 7 is set in Colombo near Kollupitiya Beach, Colombo Town Hall and National Art Gallery. We stayed in these apartments in Colombo and had a very good experience. The place is very spacious, with two bedrooms, each having a big bed, air conditioning, and a fan. Every bedroom has its own bathroom with a water heater, which is very convenient. There is also a large living room, kitchen, and hall, with fans everywhere to keep the air fresh. The terrace with furniture is a lovely spot to enjoy breakfast or tea/coffee. The apartment has useful facilities like a big washing machine, iron, and ironing board. In the living room, there is a large TV, and the Wi-Fi works well with a 4G internet connection. The whole apartment is clean and tidy. Some small parts need a little repair, but overall everything is fine. The interior is well-designed and stylish. The location is excellent – right in the city center, but still quiet, clean, and peaceful. A supermarket and a big park are nearby, and temples are within walking distance. In conclusion, these apartments are really big and comfortable, perfect for staying a few days in Colombo. Good value for money, I would be happy to stay here again.

Boasting garden views, COLOMBO Water Front offers accommodation with patio, around 12 km from Bambalapitiya Railway Station. The view was amazing! The staff were super nice and welcoming. They took great care of us and made sure all of our needs were met.
