The service was exceptional from start to finish – the staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and always goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome and comfortable. One of the highlights was the option to rent a scooter directly from the hotel – it was easy, convenient, and very affordable. Perfect for exploring the beautiful surroundings on your own terms. They also offer a laundry service, which was super handy during our trip – fast, efficient, and everything came back fresh and clean. The hotel’s restaurant and bar are fantastic – we ended up eating there regularly because the food was consistently delicious. Whether you’re into local Sri Lankan dishes or international favorites, there’s something for everyone. The pool is beautiful and located right next to the beach – you can take a dip in the pool and be on the sand just a few steps later. The combination of poolside comfort and direct beach access is unbeatable. Our room had a lovely balcony with a direct sea view, perfect for morning coffee or an evening drink. All in all, Good Karma Hotel is the perfect place to unwind, enjoy great hospitality, and experience the beauty of Sri Lanka. We’ll definitely be back!

Offering a garden and garden view, Maritime Nest Cabanas is located in Tangalle, 400 metres from Tangalle Beach and 23 km from Hummanaya Blow Hole. The host is very generous and helpful, probably the best host I’ve ever met. He basically helped us with everything, the booking of kayaking in the lake, the turtle watching, he took us to the beach and shared lots of useful information. He even waited at the beach to ride my kids back by his motorcycle when it was almost 10 pm. As we were swimming, he arranged our dinner by the pool. The breakfast was also hearty and delicious. As for the villa, it is clean, spacious, nicely decorated. Every room has a clothes drying rack, which is very thoughtful. My favorite is the swimming pool, very clean and modern, there is also a kids pool too!

Situated within less than 1 km of Red Beach and 12 km of Hummanaya Blow Hole, Finch Tangalle provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Tangalle. We had such a great time. The hotel is very calm and clean. The pool is nice and there is everything you need and more. The breakfast was good! But the best was the sweet Sanjeewa who was ready to help with everything. He helped us with scooter, transport, breakfast and was always ready for a talk. Thank you for a really nice stay. We will recommend it to everyone!

Boasting a terrace with garden views, an infinity pool and free bikes, Villa Lyvie ayurvedic hotel can be found in Tangalle, close to Red Beach and 11 km from Hummanaya Blow Hole. A beautiful little oasis and a warm welcoming host. Spent 5 relaxing days here and would definitely come back

Set within less than 1 km of Goyambokka Beach and 9.3 km of Hummanaya Blow Hole, Tanzanite place offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Tangalle. In my opinion, this is the best place you can stay in Tangalle. It is located a little bit outside the center so calmer but still close enough so that within 5 minutes, you are in town if you wish to. Two of the most beautiful beaches of the area (Silent Beach and Goyambokka Beach) are within walking distance. The place itself is absolutely great. It's a beautiful house with the hosts living on ground floor and the rooms/apartments on 2nd and 3rd floor. They are very spacious and equipped with everything you need, both for a short vacation or for a longer term stay. The beds are comfortable and the mattresses have standard US/European length, so your feet won't stick out. The AC works properly and in addition there is a fan. The WiFi is perfectly stable and fast enough even for video calls. The bathroom is clean and designed in such a way so that you can take a shower without the entire floor being wet for hours. The host and his family are very friendly and welcoming. His English is very good which makes communication easy, and he replies very quickly. They offer food at their place and rent out scooters. Given the price all of this is offered to us as guests, this place definitely deserves a 10 star review. I have already recommended coming here to friends and am certain you will be happy staying here either.

Situated in Tangalle, a few steps from Wella Odaya Beach, Golden Beach Paradise features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a private beach area. Swimming pool is very clean. Rooms are cleaning every other day. Beach in front. It’s not visible from the rooms but it’s because of the greens and it has its own charm because u can hear the ocean always. Breakfast is good and u can choose between some options. The hotel will help u in different excursions and will provide u with a taxi. U can’t swim in the ocean but it was not a problem for us as soon as u can walk on this beautiful wild and very long Beach. Also they can drop u to close beach where u can swim.

Boasting an outdoor swimming pool and views of garden, The lookout lodge is a recently renovated guest house set in Tangalle, 600 metres from Tangalle Beach. A lovely place in the quiet part of Tanglle. We booked at the last minute and they were ready for us with an early check-in early and a very nice welcome drink. The owner Gintarė and manager Chami were very helpful, organising transport to The other side of Tanglle and to Mirissa. The wetlands near the lodge had many birds which was a bonus. Highly recommended.

Situated in Tissamaharama, 2.3 km from Tissa Wewa, Elegant Lake Yala Safari House features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Randimal's hospitality. He helped us with transportation, took us for a local foot walk around the area and organized an unforgettable safari trip to Yala. The most comfortable room we had on our 2-weeks trip to Sri Lanka. Everything was new and everything worked really well. Location is very picturesque, despite not being so popular among the tourists

Located in Tangalle, Mountain seaview Cabanas offers beachfront accommodation 15 km from Hummanaya Blow Hole and features various facilities, such as a garden and a terrace. Our one-night stay in Tangalee was excellent. The owners were attentive, the room was spotless, and the location was perfect!

Situated in Tangalle, 400 metres from Goyambokka Beach, skyresort features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a restaurant. Amazing place with forest view. The rooms are super big and the bed very comfortable. Linens are soft so I slept very well and relaxed. Rooms are beautiful with a high ceiling and it is really nice to have a terasse overlooking the garden. Breakfast was tasty with fresh fruits and juices. I highly recommend this place. It is also walking distance, just a few meters away, from a lovely and quiet beach along with restaurants.
