The whole place is very peaceful and super clean. We were welcomed with a mice cool freshly squeezed juice and the ac was already on in the room, such a nice welcome. It’s a 10 min walk to Talalla beach, which is by far the quietest beach we have seen in Sri Lanka. Just 50 m outside the stay are two shops, one for fruits the other one like a mini super market, so you can buy all supplies if you would like to cook your own food. There is a kitchen with all essential tools, a fridge, microwave and a kettle. Our breakfast was included and it was good with toasted bread, a plate of fruits, fried eggs and tea (or coffee). Probably one of the nicest things in the property was the water cooler and guests are free to use it. They also have two bikes that are in good shape when compared to other ones we used in Sri Lanka. What’s more they didn’t charge for the use at all, so we biked to Hiriketiya beach and back. The hot shower is good with adjustable pressure if you would like to use it. The staff and the owners are super friendly and nice as well. Would definitely like to stay here again, for longer time. Feels just like home, super comfortable! Absolutely recommended!

Wonderful place with wonderful staff!! Clean, great view to the river, great pool, great breakfast. The staff were so nice to us that we didnt want to leave!!! Highly recommended!!

Ficámos só duas noites e criámos uma relação muito especial com a família, ao ponto de privarmos juntos: conversámos ao fim do dia antes de irmos dormir, jogámos às cartas, trocámos experiências e realidades de cada país... É uma família muito simpática e que nos fica no coração. Têm um cão super amigável e obediente. O pequeno-almoço é bastante completo e pode ser mais tradicional do Sri Lanka ou western (a nossa opção para desenjoar um pouco). Ainda nos recomendaram um restaurante tradicional para jantarmos, a um preço super acessível. O quarto tem as condições necessárias e é tudo o que promete. Um dos quartos tem inclusive uma varanda espetacular. Fica muito bem localizado, a poucos metros da praia Dickwella e também fomos bem a pé à praia de Hiriketyia.

The accommodation was great—perfectly situated close to jungle beach and not really far from Weligama bay, which made my stay enjoyable. Suba was an exceptional host, always available and eager to help with anything I needed and Hamesh was really kind too.

The staff went out of their way to make sure that the guests feel at home. They helped me book various activities in Weligama, always with a smile, and making sure my needs are answered. They make the guests feel part of the family. It is centrally located next to the main beach road with easy ocean access. It is also in a very close proximity to both the main train and bus stations in Weligama.

This accommodation was very pleasant for us. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the entire guesthouse is clean. We enjoyed the refreshment in the pool to the maximum. The always smiling owners took very good care of us and tried to fulfill all our requests. The kitchen is really great!! Varied breakfast and a large selection from the menu. We have been traveling around Asia for a long time, but here we ate one of the best grilled fish. You have to try this here!! In fact, everything we tasted was great. The pension is very quiet, with a view of the ocean. A short walk over a small hill with a wonderful view will take you to the beach. There is a shop, a bistro, a bakery, an ATM nearby, just everything you need. When we had the chance, we extended our stay here and had a wonderful relaxing time here. Many thanks to the owners and staff for this. It isn't what to say We will not forget the pleasant time and would like to return. P&M.

Bakery Family Guest House fornece acomodação com jardim, estacionamento privativo grátis e terraço em Mirissa. Mirissa Beach fica a 17 minutos a pé de distância. Uma família muito acolhedora, simpática e disponível, que nos fez sentir em casa. Tinha um lindo jardim. O pequeno almoço muito bom.

Com vista para o jardim, Secret House fica em Dickwella e tem restaurante, uma cozinha compartilhada, lanchonete, jardim, terraço e churrasqueira. - Very friendly staff. Owner and his family are great people. It felt a little bit like living with a local family which I really enjoyed. Owner supports you with everything you might need - Nice location just a little outside of the busy area. Beautiful garden. All good - Room had everything I wanted and for a good price
