This eco-friendly hotel is directly across the street from the Kongsberg Train Station, 3 km from the Kongsberg Ski Centre. It offers a sauna, gym, free Wi-Fi and free private parking. Stayed for 10 days after accident and 2 weeks in hospital. The room, which I rarely left, was very comfortable and the staff were just great. We used the sauna, gym and restaurant every day.

Boasting mountain views, Knutehytta features accommodation with a terrace, around 40 km from Heddal stave church. We received such a warm and charming welcome and the property was full of character. We were so comfortable and the host and owner went to so much trouble to provide delicious food, give us advice on the local area and walks and made us feel so spoiled! Our dog was very welcome and it was perfectly set up for dogs - he received a special home made dog treat on arrival. There were excellent drying facilities for our boots and wet weather gear after a walk.
