The whole place has great vibes — calm, welcoming, and really well looked after. The owners are super friendly and genuinely make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely set up, and the view was absolutely beautiful. Overall, a fantastic experience. Highly recommend!

Harakeke Hut ligger i Brightwater, 26 km fra Christ Church Cathedral, Nelson og 27 km fra Trafalgar Park og har en have og grillfaciliteter. The off -grid and outside space was amazing .. with a fab bbq and cooker plus seating and it even had a bath outside which was something else.. Melody and Mike were fab hosts and did all they could to make our stay comfortable. I loved the compost loo, fairy lights and outdoor sink too. Highly recommend if you like the outdoors and sustainability.. such a unique experience. Thank you guys 🙏🏼

Where do I start?! The bed was very very comfortable. I’d driven from Totaranui over the Tākaka hill so was tired and flopped down on it when I arrived and it was like a soft embrace! The couch was also very comfy. There was a washing machine so I gleefully caught up on that. The outdoor bath was fabulous especially with the salts and oils provided. I honestly didn’t want to leave I was so relaxed and comfortable.imagine if I’d stayed a few days! The views were lovely. It’s so handy to explore around the Nelson region too.
