She helped us organize tours and even a private guide, which made everything so easy. On top of that, she was incredibly kind and drove us to the bus terminal when we left. The music and atmosphere in the reception/kitchen were always great, and the sweet dogs on the property made it feel even more like home. Highly recommended!

Martien, the temporary owner, is very welcoming and friendly guy and he did everything he could to give us a good time at the hostel.

MuyaKuelap - Vive la experiencia Amazonas provides accommodation in Nuevo Tingo. It is set 32 km from Kuelap and offers full-day security. The rooms are equipped with a terrace with mountain views and free WiFi. JJ is an excellent host and made our stay memorable. He showed us around in town, shared some hikes with us, created a really nice breakfast and he even joined us to hike to Kuélap. It was great we could use the fresh organic herbs in the garden and use the rice cooker. The beds were super comfy and the shared bathroom (that was basically private as there were nog other guests) was always clean.
