Amazing attention from the lovely family, home-cooked meals, they took amazing care of us and the kids. we loved the easy access to the river, the sound of the birds, the general care. Featuring mountain views, Refugio de Mery Lucmabamba offers accommodation with a garden and a terrace, around 19 km from Machu Picchu Historic Sanctuary. Mery’s refugie is a total bless. The shower was actually running hot water! The bed was comfortable and warm, and both the dinner and breakfast prepared by Mery were the best food I’ve had in Peru! The fried trucha and the homemade guacamole were god’s food. For such a cost you really cannot find a better performance! Highly recommend!

Sky Dome Peru has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Cusco, 35 km from Wanchaq Train station. Boasting full-day security, this property also provides guests with a picnic area.... I used the Sauna and did the weaving activity, and both were truly amazing! I was feeling a bit unwell due to the altitude and felt the sauna relieved some of my symptoms. The weaving was very special- we collected nearby plants to make the dye and was taught by the owners and one of the elders the full weaving process. Of course, the rooms and view were beautiful. I was blessed with Lama visitors in the morning which was very special! I am definitely coming back to try the other activities and spend more time.
