The hosts were more than lovely, helping out with everything: food, transport....The location is beautiful next to the river, where you can swim and chat (depending on your Spanish) with the local kids, the hammock on your private balcony is amazing, the dogs were sweet but most of all the host and owners were amazing, had a great day trip tour arranged by them too.

Chip and Jessica were lovely, welcoming and very helpful with finding the Amazonas tour and a Belen food tour for us- both tours were great and in a good price.

We had a nice stay here for x4 nights before our tour of the Amazon. It was nice to be somewhere peaceful so that we could properly relax & rest before our adventure. The hosts are very friendly too, the room was clean & the air conditioning & Wi-Fi worked well. The price also includes breakfast, and so we felt like it was good value. Many thanks. ✨🦥

PuraChata Ecolodge ligger i Iquitos och har flodutsikt, en restaurang, en bar, en trädgård, en utomhuspool, en terrass och rumsservice. A jungle paradise just outside of busy Iquitos. The eco-lodge is on a beautiful property full of birds, plants, nature sounds, etc. and the pool is such a nice way to relax and cool off. It's very easy to get to via shared car aka colectivo. Some Spanish would definitely help, but with a sense of aventure and Google translate, you'd be fine!

Departamento Yavari ligger i Iquitos. Boendet erbjuder utsikt över staden och gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. The apartment is super nice, big and had everything we could hope for. We especially loved the huge bed and big bathroom.

Beautiful house, with a well equipped kitchen and lovely tranquil garden. The bus into the city leaves from right outside the property so it's easy to get around. Good place to rest and have a relaxing peaceful time. Host was friendly welcoming and attentive, made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

CAMUNGO jungle Lodge in indigenous community ALL INCLUSIVE ligger i Puerto Franco och har bergsutsikt, en restaurang, en bar, en trädgård, en terrass och en barnklubb. Going to the forest with Mario was amazing. I saw In nature everything I wanted to see: snakes, caymans, numerous birds and parrots, slots!! They are so cute! The jungle exploration was fantastic. The same warm was welcoming by community. This is the lodge I defined advice! I was in couple places in amazon and here you really feel like you become part of amazon. But didn’t come to some commercial hotel. I like them but definitely not good choose when you want to explore the jungle! Camungo lodge in Livertad is perfect choice. And the comfort of houses was great! They are newly builded! everything is nice and super clean!

Piri's House ligger i Iquitos. Boendet erbjuder utsikt över staden och gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. The host Lidsky give us a warm welcome drink. The house equips with a very clean kitchen, pots, stove, kettle, plates, fridge...etc, so it's easy to make a simple breakfast by ourselves. The airconditions are working well, so it helps us with a humid/warm night in Iquitos. There's no hot water for the shower, but I don't want it, either. It's not far from Mercado Belén.

Their way of life is truly authentic—electricity is only available in the afternoon, and everything feels deeply connected to the jungle. One of the highlights was visiting a nearby village and playing football with the locals, which made the experience even more special. If you want a genuine Amazon adventure, this is the place to be!
