His wife cooked amazing food, love especially their soup and trout!! His daughter taught us to make simple bracelets that was really fun and beautiful to have something handmade to bring home. The room is very quiet, clean and comfortable. I slept very well 2 nights. Always hot water for tea and coffee. Hot shower is hot! View is spectacular. I do recommend staying at least 2 nights to feel the tranquility and peace on the island.

If you want to see the Uros please do NOT book a tour book night here with Leonardo and Lina instead. There are such lovely people and offer tours themselves so you can discover their culture in a more private way and the money goes directly to a Uros family. We went on a kayak tour and were able to discover the whole village ourselves at our own pace which was great. The room was really comfortable, the view amazing and the food tasty. Lina, Leonardo and their children are great people happy to share about their culture. I feel really privileged to have spent time with them. One thing to note is that they live off grid, you only have USB ports in the room, the water pressure is low and it's a dry toilet. But they have managed to make it really comfortable anyway. We were surprised to even have hot water when we didn't have any in a hotel in town.

Al llegar te van a recoger con su bote lo cual hace el translado más fácil. La vista de los Lodge son muy bonitas.

The best thing about our stay were the hosts, kind, friendly, willing to have long conversations with us despite our average levels of Spanish! They went irbid their way to make us feel really comfortable, the whole family were fantastic, they would make sure that we were heading in the right direction by sending a family member with us part of the way when we went to walk to the Pacha Mama and Pacha Tata. Mari Luz even walked us to the harbour on the day of our departure.
