Octant Évora delivered a true 5-star experience from the moment we parked until we left. The hospitality stood out right away, every staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We enjoyed both the dinner and the breakfast buffet, and every dish tasted fresh, flavorful, and rooted in Alentejo's traditions. Our spa massage was another highlight, fully relaxing and beautifully done. The entire property felt carefully designed to inspire calm, with elegant amenities and thoughtful touches everywhere. What made the stay unforgettable, though, were the small moments: walking along the wooden viewpoints by the lake, savoring the peaceful landscape, and exploring the "Horta do Chefe" where we met baby goats and other animals. It felt like being connected to nature without giving up any comfort. Octant Évora captures the soul of Alentejo: slow, warm, delicious, and full of life. I can't wait to come back in the summer and enjoy it all over again, this time with even more sun, pool time, and long walks by the water :)

Wonderful hotel. Very friendly front desk staff who gave a warm welcome. Dream room with lots of space, lovely bathtub and patio area overlooking olive groves. And separate sleeping area and lounge. Really wonderful getaway that was super peaceful and restorative, at the foot of the mountain of Monsaraz. Wanted to stay longer it was so wonderful. Beautiful gardens and land surrounding it with 2500 year old olive trees!

The town was small and the people were welcoming. Be sure to call the host 15 min before you get there to help you locate the apartment.

Quinta da Amendoeira - Évora - The Farmhouse ligger i Évora, 3,5 km fra Évora katedral, og har en udendørs swimmingpool, en have og et fælles opholdsområde samt gratis privat parkering. Fantastisk sted, det bedste var den opvarmede pool – 10/10 for det. Lækker morgenmad og rigtig god service, de svarer eller rådgiver, hvis man har spørgsmål.

Two weary cyclists arrived for one night. We were delighted! Ines—one of the owners— is warm and welcoming. Our room was splendid—comfortable, lovely, overlooking the beautiful pool. Breakfast was perfect—obrigado Patricia! We liked this beautiful Solar ( a former school where Ines was a schoolgirl—how cool!) so much that we stayed one more night! My friend left for work in Lisboa and I stayed for a third night! One night turned into three because it is so delightful! I have cycled 94,000+km around the world and have stayed at well over 1000+ hotels around the world on every continent except Antarctica—Solar Dos Frades is one of the best! Obrigado Ines!
