We enjoyed both the dinner and the breakfast buffet, and every dish tasted fresh, flavorful, and rooted in Alentejo's traditions. Our spa massage was another highlight, fully relaxing and beautifully done. The entire property felt carefully designed to inspire calm, with elegant amenities and thoughtful touches everywhere. What made the stay unforgettable, though, were the small moments: walking along the wooden viewpoints by the lake, savoring the peaceful landscape, and exploring the "Horta do Chefe" where we met baby goats and other animals. It felt like being connected to nature without giving up any comfort. Octant Évora captures the soul of Alentejo: slow, warm, delicious, and full of life. I can't wait to come back in the summer and enjoy it all over again, this time with even more sun, pool time, and long walks by the water :)

They leveled up the standard for how a hotel should be, super friendly staff and supper clean. One of the best getaway places in Europe.

Wonderful hotel. Very friendly front desk staff who gave a warm welcome. Dream room with lots of space, lovely bathtub and patio area overlooking olive groves. And separate sleeping area and lounge. Really wonderful getaway that was super peaceful and restorative, at the foot of the mountain of Monsaraz. Wanted to stay longer it was so wonderful. Beautiful gardens and land surrounding it with 2500 year old olive trees!

Providing a garden, barbecue facilities and free WiFi, Casa da Xica is a recently renovated holiday home 47 km from Cathedral of Evora Se and 47 km from Chapel of Bones. Everything, it was amazing and very comfortable. Look forward to coming back sometime.

Casa do Serro de Lá is located in Santa Clara-a-Nova. The property features garden and inner courtyard views. Free WiFi is included throughout the property. The house is very well taken care of and the decoration is incredible! Super cozy, with a very nice patio with a great view. We are leaving wanting to come back!

You can walk through the Quinta get a look at the sheep, the vineyards etc. The rooms are also really stylish. + Location - it's a 10 minutes drive to the center of Evora so you have the tranquility while being very close to a lot of options. + Staff - really friendly and helpful they did their best to make sure our stay was enjoyable.

Set in Ferreira do Alentejo, in a historic building, 48 km from Flour Museum, SOLAR DOS FRADES is a recently renovated guest house with an outdoor swimming pool and spa and wellness centre. Two weary cyclists arrived for one night. We were delighted! Ines—one of the owners— is warm and welcoming. Our room was splendid—comfortable, lovely, overlooking the beautiful pool. Breakfast was perfect—obrigado Patricia! We liked this beautiful Solar ( a former school where Ines was a schoolgirl—how cool!) so much that we stayed one more night! My friend left for work in Lisboa and I stayed for a third night! One night turned into three because it is so delightful! I have cycled 94,000+km around the world and have stayed at well over 1000+ hotels around the world on every continent except Antarctica—Solar Dos Frades is one of the best! Obrigado Ines!
