Surrounded by 80 000m² of beautiful gardens, this 5-star hotel is 4 km from Évora city centre and housed in a renovated 15th-century convent. It offers a piano bar and free parking. The hotel is a perfect venue for a wedding, which we attended. Breakfast was exceptional. Other meals very nice. Room spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking easy and safe.

Wonderful hotel. Very friendly front desk staff who gave a warm welcome. Dream room with lots of space, lovely bathtub and patio area overlooking olive groves. And separate sleeping area and lounge. Really wonderful getaway that was super peaceful and restorative, at the foot of the mountain of Monsaraz. Wanted to stay longer it was so wonderful. Beautiful gardens and land surrounding it with 2500 year old olive trees!

Mayroon ang SOLAR DOS FRADES ng outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, hardin, at shared lounge sa Ferreira do Alentejo. Two weary cyclists arrived for one night. We were delighted! Ines—one of the owners— is warm and welcoming. Our room was splendid—comfortable, lovely, overlooking the beautiful pool. Breakfast was perfect—obrigado Patricia! We liked this beautiful Solar ( a former school where Ines was a schoolgirl—how cool!) so much that we stayed one more night! My friend left for work in Lisboa and I stayed for a third night! One night turned into three because it is so delightful! I have cycled 94,000+km around the world and have stayed at well over 1000+ hotels around the world on every continent except Antarctica—Solar Dos Frades is one of the best! Obrigado Ines!
