This was a very special and fun stay. The harbour at this time a year is calm and the tourist season isn't there yet so we had a wonderful quiet stay. It's a unique experience to stay on a modern houseboat during Christmas. This is indeed something I would like to do again and I recommend it to people to try it. Birdy House was a delightful stay, we loved it the moment we opened the front door off the quiet cobblestoned street… it’s beautifully decorated with attention to details. It had just about everything we needed for an 11 day stay…some kitchen cooking condiments, (check the cupboards before you head off to the market), close to walk everything, lots of restaurants and shopping, a cute little patio…and quiet at night.
