I loved everything about the stay. The location was great, the room and facilities were exquisite, and the staff was exceptional. The breakfast was perfect and we loved every minute of it.

We loved the reception by Mrs Julia, who was very kind and friendly. She gave us tips on restaurants nearby. We also enjoyed the wineyard at the bottom of the hotel and that we were allowed to walk around at any time. The place is very calm and quiet, perfect for a escape from the city hustle and bustle. Mr Jose was also of extreme kindness setting us up with a lovely boat tour through Douro on my bday. We had just asked where we could arrange for the tour and he went all the way calling the person and helping us organize. Breakfast was delicious and all the staff was really attentive. We highly recommend a stay with them!

The location was great in many ways. It was completely silent and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped and very clean. From the window of upstairs, you can enjoy sunshine all the time. It's located nearby the river beach and very nice reasonable restaurant which opens from 15:00. If you stay as a family with children, we highly recommend this place with a lot of activities (river beach, little animals and nearby pool etc). The whole building was clean and useful with an air conditioner.
