My husband, our dog, and I felt right at home in the cozy, well-equipped studio that had absolutely everything we needed. Carolina, Gabriel's collaborator, was so lovely and helpful, providing us with all the assistance we could ask for. The neighborhood is peaceful, offering a stunning view of the sunset, and it's conveniently located near one of the best restaurants I've been to in Serra da Estrela—"Vicente." It’s also not far from the village center, making it easy to pick up fresh bread, meat, or anything else you might need. A bonus that isn’t mentioned in the description is the electric car recharging point just a few meters from the studio, which was incredibly convenient for us. We’d definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-situated stay in Serra da Estrela!

Extremely comfortable bed, pretty clean room, an amazing breakfast with local and fresh products. A great view from the bedroom over the vineyard and a truly welcoming staff!

Located in Guarda, in a historic building, 48 km from Parque Natural Serra da Estrela, Quinta da Alqueidosa - Casa de Campo is a holiday home with a garden and barbecue facilities. The location is perfect. In the middle of a small valley, far from towns and villages. It is quiet, relaxing, comfortable, very well kept. The whole precinct is very nice, with pool, sheep grazing below, and cats playing around. The room has all amenities, well equipped kitchen, well furnished. The bathroom is nice and spotless. The fireplace is very pleasant, specially on a cold rainy day. I reached the place walking, it's a 10 km easy walk, no problem unless one has mobility issues. Two kilometers uphill the quinta is village Trinta which has bakery, pharmacy, and a small village shop with the sweetest granny that has ever sold cheese to You. Overall, the area feels very authentic, I very much enjoyed walking through the countryside and the villages.

Boasting pool with a view and views of mountain, Alqueiturismo - Casas de Campo is a holiday park set in a historic building in Guarda, 12 km from Guarda Cathedral. The location was very peaceful, completely quiet at night other than the sounds of nature. The accommodation itself was extremely comfortable, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was friendly, both the staff and other guests. The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They answered our questions and provided things we needed. It's a safe enclosed community, our children were able to play around the gardens without us worrying with their whereabouts. There's two sets of swings and a small trampoline. The pool was a highlight, it's great that there are toilets and showers by the pool to avoid having to go back in the accommodation whilst spending time in the pool. The sun loungers and parasols are also perfectly placed. We loved the 'home away from home' comfort, including TVs and AC to keep us all comfortable. It was nice to sleep under a soft duvet instead of being uncovered because it's too hot to sleep. Feeding the donkey and the pony was also a highlight. The reservoir beach is 9 minutes away, easy drive, totally worth popping down if staying for two or three nights. We did it on our way back home. We stayed two nights, and didn't go anywhere in the car that time. It was nice to just stay put and relax. Thank you so much! We loved it.
