Very friendly and polite workers and receptionists. The room was of a very good size, very comfortable beds and pillows. We had a nice range of useful toiletries, including a toothbrush and shaving kit. They offered a really nice breakfast selection, including a separate menu for freshly cooked eggs and sandwiches. We were also offered bowls for food and water for our dog. A huge park across the street came in handy for our morning and evening dog walks.

Located in Cluj-Napoca, Residence iL Lago is 800 metres from EXPO Transilvania. The Museum of Art of Cluj-Napoca is 2.9 km from the property. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property. The location, about a fifteen minute bus ride on 24A bus to the main part of the city, was beside a lake and also serviced by an excellent shopping mall, about five minutes walk from apartments. Great supermarket and I even found a new battery charger for phone when mine had failed. Excellent, helpful staff changed my room on request to a higher floor to improve outlook to lake. Clean modern, good parking underneath and everything I needed for my two nights in the city. Even my favourite English Breakfast tea bags and a kettle for a cup of tea. I could not fault Il Lago. Also easy to find with large sign on apartments which helps in a foreign city. Everything perfect !

Hampton by Hilton Cluj-Napoca is situated close to the city's business centers, at a 10-minute walk from the Old Town and a 10-minute drive from Cluj-Napoca International Airport. Everything was perfect. The staff was very helpful, especially Felicia and Laurentiu.

Also, there is free parking (and a parking spot seems to be priceless in Cluj). I am rating with a 10 because it was exactly what I needed for the goals of our 3 days staying in Cluj.
