Really clean place: windows, kitchen supplies, bathroom, terrace! There were no stains anywhere, this was a pleasant surprise. Good quality furniture, they have shoehorn, hotel slippers. Kitchen is equipped with majority of things you need. If they had coffee machine - that would have been perfect. We brought our own with us :) houses are situated away from road - you don’t listen to cars, but roosters instead 😄 surrounding area is safe for walking dogs. I was looking for separate pet-friendly place with hot tub outside and I can surely say this place suits best. Overall this is a decent place for its money.

Apartmány Kubínska, Hillside is situated in Dolný Kubín, 16 km from Orava Castle, 33 km from Vlkolinec Village, as well as 34 km from Water Park Bešeňová. The check-in instructions were clear and understandable, the accommodation was clean and perfectly equipped.

Situated just 12 km from Hala Miziowa, Starý dom offers accommodation in Oravská Polhora with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a shared kitchen. The hosts are very kind, open and supportive, when it comes where to hike and to go. Very easy communication with them. It exceeded my expectations. If you plan to have a hike to Pilsko or Babia Góra, a good location to start from:)

The apartment was well equipped, new and very clean, it had all it needed plus a great view as bonus!

Featuring a garden, bar and views of river, Rozprávková dedinka is located in Dolný Kubín, 10 km from Orava Castle. We stayed as a family with three children. The place is charming and kid-friendly. The bunk bed in the wooden house is amazing and spacious, and our children really loved it. Everything is very clean. Breakfast is nice, and kids eat for free. The restaurant staff is friendly and welcoming, especially the wonderful waitress (whose name we unfortunately forgot) who was on shift during our stay from September 23 to 26.

Penzion Zázrifka provides a sauna and free private parking, and is within 32 km of Orava Castle and 49 km of Vlkolinec Village. I had a truly lovely stay at Penzion Zázrifka. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed—it felt less like checking into a guesthouse and more like being invited into someone’s home. The hosts went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable, and they generously shared lots of great advice on where to go and what to see in Slovakia. Thanks to their tips, I discovered places I probably wouldn’t have found on my own. The room was cozy and clean, the location peaceful, and the whole experience felt personal and relaxed. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and friendly place to stay.

Featuring garden views, Penzión Reduta is situated in Oravský Podzámok, 800 metres from Orava Castle. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. I send a message to the owner, when we arrive in this village by train. I didn't expect, he come, and pick us up. It was a nice gesture. The accomodation is 10/10 :) First of all, the balkon from the kitchen.
