Ibou could not have been more helpful and his communication is excellent. The chef is outstanding, the room spotless and the security man always around. A wide selection of trips are available. The village is local and the people are very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend a visit to anyone wanting an adventure in this fabulous part of Senegal.

Com vista para o jardim, Bed and breakfast Keur Niaye fica em Toubakouta e tem restaurante, uma cozinha compartilhada, bar, jardim, terraço e parquinho infantil. Celine and Gilles were delightful hosts, always attentive to us. Everyone at Keur Niaye was gracious and highly capable. We especially appreciated Doudou, their guide who took us on several outings. The garden is beautiful, and our room was extremely comfortable. Celine and Gilles were excellent company and fascinating people. Their support for the community in the town of Toubakouta is admirable and added greatly to our experience there.

We really liked the B&B in general but were especially impressed with the excursions that were offered. David gave us a guided boat tour where we visited the small nearby island towns of Sipo and Missirah and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Jenny was also very helpful with the logistics (especially because I don't speak French!) and helping me organise our time in Senegal. El Hadj is their taxi driver and we organised pretty much our whole trip throughout Senegal with him - he was fantastic. And there are a few restaurants nearby with delicious food. The breakfast offered at the B&B was delicious. Thank you!

There are various leisure activities, I can warmly recommend the full day tour with the pirogue to visit the Sine Saloum Delta or an evening run in the suroundings of the hotel.
