The whole experience at Shama Yen Akat Bangkok was awesome end-to-end. At first, we chose not to pay for the breakfast to allow us some freedom to have breakfast in different places, but their restaurant has a very delicious and well-served breakfast option for a reasonable price (350 Bahts/person). We ended up having different things every day but at the very same place. Everything was delicious! Fortunately, the hotel does not offer those inflated cereal-chockie bars. Much better than that, there is an awesome supermarket walking distance, where we could find great deals. If you like special beers, you will find some absolutely amazing Thai craft beers out there (I recommend the Raven IPA). We could see some NYE fireworks from the nice rooftop, we could also enjoy the pleasant pool area (where towels are provided) after a busy day, and we also did some work out at their gym (treadmill was out of service, I have to say). If you want to go out for some running, there is a beautiful park (called Lumpini) in the area. A Grab (equivalent to Uber) from the hotel takes no more than 5 minutes to take us there at a fair price. Finally, if you run out of cash (which is still much used in Bangkok, thankgod not for a Grab), there is a convenient ATM at the entrance of the hotel.

We’d absolutely recommend W Bangkok to anyone looking for a chic, energetic hotel experience with top-notch service.

I had an outstanding stay at Riva Surya! The staff truly goes above and beyond, always attentive, incredibly polite and genuinely helpful. Every request I made was handled quickly and with a smile. They even booked a taxi for me several days in advance to make sure I'd get to the airport on time on the marathon day, and when I checked out, they double-checked the room to ensure I hadn't forgotten anything. The location is fantastic, right across from Beit Chabad which is very convenient if you need a kosher restaurant or a place to spend Shabbat. The hotel is in the lively Khao San area, full of great bars and restaurants, yet the hotel itself is perfectly quiet. I slept amazingly well every night. Honestly, I was extremely satisfied with my stay. Highly recommended.

This is a great facility with a very friendly and cooperative staff. We had a three bedroom apartment which was very spacious and comfortable. The furniture, the linens, and the towels are in excellent condition and clean. The kitchen, toilets and the whole facility are super clean and well kept. The shuttle transportation to nearby metro station and Main Street was a plus. We didn’t try the restaurant but I’m sure it will be great if you are not very keen to Halal food. Less than 15 minutes walking distance to Terminal 21 shopping center.
