To start with, we enjoyed the location. It is in the middle of nature, with wonderful views and full of cute dogs. The place was very quiet, and we slept nicely. The location is also perfect, close to many nice beaches and waterfalls. The people in the hotel were fantastic! The receptionist was a sweetheart, and the management people were kind. The last day we went to take the ferry and we forgot our portable charger at the reception and the guys drove to the port to take the charger to us . We really appreciated this and we are very grateful . 🙏 Another thing I really appreciated was the sustainability practices they adopt at the hotel . They have free filtered water all over the hotel and they provide water bottles to their guests. This is the first time I have seen something like that in a hotel in Thailand and I really appreciate these actions, especially on the islands as we have seen a lot of plastic thrown around.

From the two brothers who run the place, to the relaxed community area with bar and pool, to our bungalow with its spacious terrace, everything was wonderful. The cute, funny dogs were an unexpected highlight and will even stay in your bungalow for extra snuggles if you let them. The views and sunsets up here are absolutely stunning. Getting there involves a bit of a hike, but we genuinely enjoyed it. Since we usually spend our days in Thailand eating, smoking, and lying on the beach, the walk up was a welcome bit of movement and actually quite refreshing.

LONELY GROOVE ligger i Koh Chang, 2 minuters promenad från Klong Kloi Beach, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en gemensam lounge och en terrass. Lonely Groove ligger vid en återvändsgränd. Tyst läge, väldigt fin liten resort, 9 rum, med lummig trädgård som vattnas och sköts varje dag av värdfarbrorn. Familjär stämning! Rent och så välorganiserat för att vara budgetboende i Klong Kloi. Bara 3min ner till stranden. Restaurangen är värd ett eget kapitel. Hemlagat, hela dagen, till så rimliga priser. Miljön, ja vad mer kan man begära……😊

JOP ligger i Koh Chang, mindre än 1 km från Kai Bae Beach, och erbjuder utsikt över trädgården. Detta hotell med 3 stjärnorhar en trädgård och en bar samt gratis WiFi. Amazing! First I booked 7 nights, at the end I stayed 12 nights here. The owners (Olivier and his wife) are so helpful and friendly. The rooms are very clean and spacious. You can rent a very good motorbike directly at the hotel for 200 baht. I think everything is very cheap. 😊 I highly recommend it!

Set in Bailan Bay on the island of Koh Chang only 400 metres from Lisca beach, Harley Moon boasts an outdoor pool and a sun terrace. We had a fantastic stay at this charming resort, which is run by a lovely French family. The place was impeccably clean, and everything in the room felt either brand new or recently renovated. The location couldn’t have been better—right in the heart of a small village with everything just steps away. Although it’s close to the street, the resort still managed to feel calm and peaceful, offering the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The refreshing red pool was a highlight for me, providing a much-needed escape from the heat. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure a great stay. And the breakfast? Fresh, delicious, and served with care—it was a wonderful start to a day. This resort truly combines convenience, comfort, and great hospitality. I’d highly recommend it for anyone looking to explore the local area while enjoying a clean and cozy retreat.

Dinso Resort & Villas Ko Chang, Vignette Collection ligger inbäddat vid Koh Changs natursköna stränder och erbjuder en blandning av orörd skönhet och rustik charm. Very much loved this hotel - I think the pool + Beach + Restaurant/Bar setup are exceptional! Having the sunset view with the beach/pool/restaurant combined made the stay perfect, the beach walk is super nice too! stayed in a pool access room which was also a great feature to have our own semi-private space. The room was clean, comfy and what you would expect overall. Location is good and close enough to a couple of good restaurants (Mango), super close 711 and short walk (10-20mins to many more) or songthaew. Breakfast was reasonably priced with tons of options too.

Boutiqueanläggningen The Chill Resort and Spa, Koh Chang ligger vid stranden Kai Bae, 8 km från Laem Ngop-piren. Här erbjuds rum med privat terrass och gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. Very nice hotel with fantastic staff. Breakfast is definitely the best in Ko Chang!

Wow an absolutely stunning property. A restored old Thai town house. One of the best places I have stayed on my many trips traveling around Thailand.

Loki Baan - Seaside Jungle Villa Experience har utsikt över trädgården och erbjuder boende med en terrass och en balkong, 12 km från Vattenfallet Klong Chao. Everything was perfect- Leo helped us each step of the way, as soon as I booked he introduced himself and gave us help with booking our ferry, he even arranged for 2 bikes to be there when we arrived. During our stay he helped with all of the transfers, and helped us to arrange a private snorkeling trip. The accommodation is about 100m from the beach, no visible neighbour’s and set in dense palm trees and jungle. It is so so so good- really comfortable, especially for a family, it meant when we were tired we could cook our own food and relax with a movie. It’s really private and so relaxing- a perfect jungle/beach getaway. The beach at the end is a pristine sand beach, you can use the restaurant at the nearby resort or there is a great bar on the beach. Leo is super friendly and was a perfect host. We will stay whenever we come back to Koh Kood (my new favourite island) Thanks Leo for making our trip to Koh Kood so perfect 🙏 The only thing is we don’t want it to get too popular so it is always available for us when we come back!
