I had a very pleasant stay at Koh Kood Garden House while traveling alone with my daughter. The bungalow is beautiful and set in a lush, peaceful garden filled with peacocks, chickens, and birds — a truly special and calming place. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast every morning, especially the fresh fruit and freshly pressed juices. There were also Thai dishes on the menu, which we appreciated. The welcome was warm and genuine, and cleaning was absolutely perfect every day. I also really liked the eco-friendly approach throughout the place. The only small thing for us was that the sofa bed for my daughter was a bit firm. I would also like to mention — not as criticism, but simply as a personal observation — that there is a slightly German atmosphere, which makes sense as the place is owned by Chris and Johnny, and many of the books I noticed in the restaurant/reception area were in German. Many guests clearly enjoy this, and it’s done very nicely; for me personally, it’s just a fine balance, as I usually travel to Thailand seeking a more local and traditional feel. This is very much a matter of personal preference. Everyone was kind, helpful, and always smiling. They helped with scooter rental, laundry, beach towels, and anything we needed. Overall, it’s a beautiful, well-kept place with a calm, welcoming atmosphere, and we felt very well taken care of.

Drifters anchor was by far the highlight of our Thailand trip! This resort gave us the privacy and best views we’ve ever seen in our travels throughout Asia! Our cute modern bungalow was nestled in the jungle overlooking the sea with a perfect sunset every night! The staff was perfect, friendly helping us with our every need, breakfast was beyond expectation (very hard to find in Thailand) fresh fruit and great coffee! We enjoyed the walk to the resort through the jungle.. makes for a quiet romantic stay! 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting Koh Chang!

This was our second time staying here, we absolutely loved the vibe , being connected with nature and very close to the beach. We have just spent the most amazing ten days at this resort which must be one of the best on the island judging by all the visitors it receives. Our bungalow was massive with a separate bath area and then shower area plus a lovely large veranda with chairs and sun beds. The accommodation was spotless, attractive, spacious and serviced every morning. The bed was very large, efficient air con and very well appointed and maintained. The beach and grounds were very well maintained and attractive with a shower, sun beds and kayaks. The restaurant was excellent with a great choice of breakfast, everything you could possibly wish for and throughout the day it received many visitors for lunch as it has such a good reputation. We ate here every evening also as there was so much excellent choice and quality exceptional. The real secret to this place in my opinion though is the truly wonderful staff who were so friendly and fun to be with. The power house really is a charming lady called Jill who can fix or arrange or advise on anything you need. She arranged scooters and in house massages for us which was amazing and all transportation or trips can be arranged with her. It really was all the lovely staff that made our ten days so special and we would thoroughly recommend this place, this was our fourth Koh Mak visit but our first to this place and will remain our accommodation of choice in the future.

Set in Bailan Bay on the island of Koh Chang only 400 metres from Lisca beach, Harley Moon boasts an outdoor pool and a sun terrace. We had a fantastic stay at this charming resort, which is run by a lovely French family. The place was impeccably clean, and everything in the room felt either brand new or recently renovated. The location couldn’t have been better—right in the heart of a small village with everything just steps away. Although it’s close to the street, the resort still managed to feel calm and peaceful, offering the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The refreshing red pool was a highlight for me, providing a much-needed escape from the heat. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure a great stay. And the breakfast? Fresh, delicious, and served with care—it was a wonderful start to a day. This resort truly combines convenience, comfort, and great hospitality. I’d highly recommend it for anyone looking to explore the local area while enjoying a clean and cozy retreat.

One of our best stays in Thailand. Koh Kood is lacking a quality establishments that are not fancy resorts with inflated prices, so we are so happy that we managed to find Leo's house. The location is spectacular, in the middle of the coconut field, surrounded by nature. A few minutes on foot to the nearest beach and a couple of more walking distance. Leo helped us to rent a motorbike that is essential as you are quite far from the main road and shops. But that is one of the things we liked the most, the calmness and privacy. In the house we had everything we might have needed and more, Leo provided us with essentials as well as bottled water, which was nice 🙂 The adjustable desk is a game changer if you are working remotely, the wifi was sometimes a bit shaky but we were working without major issues and we know the host is planning on improving in this regard. Leo takes pride in developing this place so by the time you get there it will be even more awesome with more plants and utilities. We loved the island and a big part of that was thanks to Leo and his place, already looking forward to coming again.
