My stay at Touring Club Marhala was a truly unique and memorable experience, and the cave room was exactly what I hoped for when booking. The owner was very kind and welcoming, and the meals were excellent—I highly recommend having dinner at the hotel. The food was great value, especially given the limited dining options in Matmata.

Stanza bellissima suggestiva. Letto comodo, temperatura perfetta, posizione incantevole per godere del paesaggio. Consiglio la struttura a viaggiatori auto/moto muniti poiché Toujane non è ben collegata con mezzi pubblici. Quindi ok backpackers ma adeguatamente organizzati. Detto questo non vedo l'ora di tornare in questo villaggio dove da subito mi sono sentita a casa, accolta calorosamente dalla gente del luogo. Il personale della struttura fa di tutto per fare sentire gli ospiti a casa propria. Grazie Toujane ❤️

Stay in Matmata Chez Azouni si trova a Matmata. C’è un parcheggio privato disponibile sul posto. The flat is a hidden gem, everything was super new and very clean. It is very well decorated and equipped. We had everything we needed such as coffee machine, plates, washing machine, hob, airconditionning and heating, duvets and towels. We felt spoilt with the fresh breakfast delivered to our door, we had a variety of food that kept us full all day along with coffee and fresh juice. The area is super safe, we walked around at night, and it felt very safe. The host were very kind and helpful, the let us in and kept asking if we need anything, we felt very welcome. There are great restaurants and coffee places few minutes away. It is highly recommended to stay in this luxury spot to explore Matmata, and to visit the Troglodyte homes and to discover the impressive veiws of the mountains around. The flat has great views over the mountains. We will definitely come back again to discover the whole area around Matmata.
