Au Trait d'Union Tijma Matmata offre la vista sulla montagna a Matmata e dispone di ristorante, cucina in comune, bar, giardino e terrazza. The hotel is very unique, every room is a cave. It's similar to the famous Sidi Driss, only it looks much cleaner, and you don't have tourist going around. We were very glad we stayed there. Everything was very clean, much cleaner than "normal" hotels we stayed earlier in our trip. There is private bathroom, even though it's not near your room, it is dedicated to you. We stayed there in November, and we actually were the only guests. I highly recommend getting dinner there as well. The food was delicious, it was cooked right there by owners and was very good.

Stay in Matmata Chez Azouni si trova a Matmata. C’è un parcheggio privato disponibile sul posto. The flat is a hidden gem, everything was super new and very clean. It is very well decorated and equipped. We had everything we needed such as coffee machine, plates, washing machine, hob, airconditionning and heating, duvets and towels. We felt spoilt with the fresh breakfast delivered to our door, we had a variety of food that kept us full all day along with coffee and fresh juice. The area is super safe, we walked around at night, and it felt very safe. The host were very kind and helpful, the let us in and kept asking if we need anything, we felt very welcome. There are great restaurants and coffee places few minutes away. It is highly recommended to stay in this luxury spot to explore Matmata, and to visit the Troglodyte homes and to discover the impressive veiws of the mountains around. The flat has great views over the mountains. We will definitely come back again to discover the whole area around Matmata.

Great to feel part of Star Wars, it’s an experience you won’t forget!
