Hostel 197 ligger i Nungwi, 4 minutters gang fra Nungwi Strand, og har en udendørs swimmingpool, et fitnesscenter og en have samt gratis privat parkering. Mega flot hostel med super gode faciliteter, og virkelig sødt personale!! Stemningen var virkelig dejlig, og så var vi bare mega overraskede over the dorm rooms, hvor der var virkelig rent, dobbeltsenge til hver person, god air condition samt myggenet (dog kun øverst, men der var ikke nogen myg alligevel). Vi blev alle 8 enige om, at det var det bedste hostel, som vi har prøvet af bo på, og vi kommer helt sikkert igen, hvis vi skal til Nungwi igen!!

The wonderful hotel garden, very helpful and friendly stuff, especially the extraordinary and very kind cook, beautiful and clean pool, very kind and helpful owners, delicious and big breakfast, clean spacious room with nice private Terrasse and the favourite of all Lucy the Monkey. We had peace there and could really reset good. The beach is 3 min by foot away with wonderful sunrise. We will definitely Comme again and recommend it!

Exceptional experience – peaceful, clean, and right on the beach! I had an amazing time at Mambo Ocean Resort. The location is perfect, directly on a quiet and beautiful beach, ideal for long walks and swimming. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and well-maintained, with all the amenities I needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, always smiling and ready to assist. I also appreciated the calm vibe of the resort – perfect for unwinding. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the pool area was spotless. I was for second time here and I would gladly stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Zanzibar!

Haber Hotel & SPA ligger i Matemwe, 6 minutters gang fra Matemwe Beach, og har gratis cykler, en udendørs swimmingpool og en have samt gratis privat parkering. Dette hotel har 4 stjerner. We loved the pool and the hammock beds that surrounded the pool. The food is absolutely delicious and the owners are willing to accommodate your dietary needs. But the best part is definitely the owners and staff—they treated us like VIP guests and took great care of us. They even hosted a family style Christmas Eve dinner with authentic polish cuisine and had a live band perform for dinner on Christmas Day. Honestly the previous reviews about this place are spot on—it’s a great place to unwind and relax plus the area the hotel is located in has the best snorkeling experience on the entire island. We will definitely be coming back in the future! Thank you Mama Kasha, Kristof, and Emanuel for making our Christmas holiday special.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely recommend Uhuru to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with great food, even if you’re just booking a single bed in a dorm!”
