A beautifully curated space that welcomes you immediately. Max was beyond awesome and made us feel at home in every minute. He attended to every detail including the right music and and a special BBQ event with drumming, dancing, and a wild surprise! They have games and a dart board too! Restaurant open all day, great food, and the included breakfast offered something different each day which is much appreciated. The rooms were simple and sufficient with cool AC and soooo quiet!! The pool is perfect with shaded area at all times. Genius design! To cut down on plastic they offer a water station to refill your bottles at no cost any time. Also coffee and tea are available all day at no cost. Oh, and I also got the most amazing massage on site and they will reserve any tour you can think of which makes life so easy. Seriously, look no further. Babalao will not disappoint, it will delight!

We were assigned the family room which is a quaint beautiful cottage with an ocean view in a secluded corner of the property. We had unobstructed view of the ocean and got to experience beautiful sunrises which added to the charm. I loved the rustic decor of the rooms, the quiet ambiance, the cleanliness of the property in general, and adequate number of palapas by the beach such that we didn’t need to wake up early each morning to secure our spot as is typical in most beach resorts.

The staff was exceptionally pleasant, cooperative & helpful. I have not seen such professional, helpful & great staff anywhere in the world and I have visited dozens of countries. Petra (the manager), Juice (the chief cheff), all the reception, housekeeping, restaurant staff, I mean they are all from heaven...they'll die to help you & make you comfortable & 😊. From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable and Alice, the owner, went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. he room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. Every little detail was taken care of, and I truly appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout my stay. The location was perfect, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was both relaxing and elegant. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional service and a great experience. I will definitely be coming back!

Everything...the food was jus perfect from Swahili dishes to English dishes..the environment was veryyy friendly somewhere I can meditate..the rooms with very comfortable with very nice mattress .. everything is just friendly and I will obviously come back next time this year.. especially Chabi , teddy, Rosie,and nasra they make it feel like home 🥰
