Babalao Bungalows has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Nungwi. I enjoyed my staying here, it felt very peaceful. Alp was very nice, helpful and attentive. The staff were great too. And I lived their kitchen, especially the prawn carry. The location is perfect, 2 minutes to the beach, close by to many restaurants and shops. I loved the umlimited time breakfast and the offer to shower if we are leaving late, and many small détails that make the difference

They were incredibly spacious and offered so much room for every single person. You have your own locker, a double bed and far more privacy than you would ever expect in an eight-bed dorm. It honestly does not feel like staying in a dorm at all. The pool area was beautiful, the water was always clean and the welcome drink and constant water refills were such a nice touch. There are animals around, the beach is very close and there are evening activities, which made the whole stay even more enjoyable. The host was extremely friendly, attentive and genuinely kind. The breakfast was also very delicious. I have stayed in many hostels around the world and I can confidently say this is by far one of the best I have ever slept in. I stayed for only three nights because I had already booked another place, but I would have loved to extend. Almost everyone I met actually extended their stay, which says a lot about how satisfied people are with this property. Will go again soon!
