They answered all of my questions, made my daughter and me feel welcomed. The hotel was spotless. The onsite restaurant was excellent. The location was convenient to town and the nearby college. I can not say more about this place. I will definitely return!

Canterbury Suites B&B asub Bar Harboris, 700 meetri kaugusel Town Beachist. Kohapeal on tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla. We thought of this booking more like an Airbnb, rent a room style. We are not really familar with the Bed & Breakfast concept shown here. But it was a very pleasant surprise. The owner live in the building and renting out two nice rooms in the main Building and one room in a little house in the backyard. They where very nice people with great advices for our trip in Bar Harbor and the two dogs where an added bonus. - Everything is very new and nicely furnished and decorated. - Breakfast is homecooked every morning and was exceptional! - Awesome place to also meet other guests and exchange about the vacation planing

We loved the character of the cottages, the up cycled furniture, the fire pit and games which were available. The cottage was well equipped and very comfortable.. It was quiet too at night.

This was my first stay at The Francis and I'd not hesitate to rebook on my next visit to Portland. A beautiful historical house with clean, wonderful rooms. Friendly, helpful reception staff, parking included, great amenities and conveniently located (10 min walk to waterfront).

It gives me great pleasure to “highly” recommend Candlebay Inn to anybody looking for a “home away from home” but in wonderful New England settings. Especially my wife and I like to note the wonderful “personal” attention by our hostess Connie ( and Stephany ) . They helped to make pur stay a wonderful experience.
