The 2-bedroom apartment was really lovely, with a huge terrace, white interiors in a minimalist style and super comfy beds, nice divan in the kitchen and all the necessary accessories in the kitchen and bathroom (nespresso, pans, hairdryer, iron/board). The location is great, close to a lovely small beach, hidden from the hustle of the port. If you have lots of luggage, better take the sea taxi, but with a small suitcase it’s a lovely 15-minute walk alongside the coast.

Everything! Andreas truly went above and beyond. He gave us a warm welcome, invited us into his living room to tell us about his house and Hydra, then took us to our very clean flat which was stocked every day with breakfast and snack items and delicious coffee. One afternoon, he even brought us some cake.The private terrace for flat #5 was perfect and the garden heavenly. Andreas and his father have thought of everything from supplying rooms with snorkelling gear, to beach towels, bath robes, a beach bag, food and drink. The room was also cleaned each day. We loved everything! For guests who like history and gardens, this is the perfect place to relax. There is a reason why this mansion has earned such excellent reviews. We cannot imagine staying anywhere else should we return to Hydra. Thank you again, Andreas.

Located just 15 metres from the sea in Hydra,Hotel Sophia is housed in a restored 19-century building and offers a shared lounge, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi access. I had an absolutely delightful stay at Hotel Sophia in Hydra! The rooms were impeccably designed and offered the perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The rich and amazing breakfast spread was a wonderful way to start the day, offering a variety of delicious options to satisfy any palate. However, what truly set this experience apart was the exceptional hospitality of the hostess, Vasiliki. Her warmth, friendliness, and genuine willingness to assist made me feel truly welcomed and cared for throughout my stay. She went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my visit was memorable and enjoyable. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I felt like a valued guest. The attention to detail in both the accommodations and the service provided made this stay an unforgettable one. Offering views of the mountain and town, Paradiso is located in Hydra. All rooms have a flat-screen TV. Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea while looking out at the garden or city. Staff was very friendly and made our stay memorable. Hydra itself is a beautiful island and the location was close to the main bay.

Set in an historic house on a hill of Hydra Island, just 350 metres above the harbour, Hydras Chromata offers an inner courtyard and air-conditioned apartments or rooms with furnished terraces, patios... Accommodation was very comfortable. Beautiful large terrace with nice table and chairs. Even though the place is not listed as including breakfast, Yannis our host, brought fresh bread every morning, and restocked water, milk, cream, yogurt, juice, coffee (nespresso machine), granola, ham and cheese, as needed. Yannis is an absolutely wonderful person and pleasant host. He met us at the ferry, actually came to every ferry arrival that day as he did not know on which ferry we were arriving. I think we were on the 3rd or 4th ferry. He did not get both messages that we had sent about our arrival time via Booking.com's messaging. I will contact Booking.com separately about that. We also had to change travel plans as we had to return to Athens for a temporary passport (stolen on metro to Piraeus). He offered to help with whatever we needed. He took us to print and photo shop to download documents from the Embassy, to the ticket office to change our return ferry, and showed us a few sites in town.
