He helped us with everything from the moment we landed in Medan. Our guides for orangutan trekking Oli and Dial were also amazing with their knowledge & jokes. The guest house is in excellent location close to the bridge with great restaurant choices around.

Toba Boi erbjuder boende i Tuk Tuk. Boendet bjuder på utsikt över bergen och har en terrass. På Toba Boi är varje rum utrustat med balkong med sjöutsikt. The hosts Dong and Seska were so friendly and helpful which made it my stay a memorable one. There is a bar / restaurant across the road which does great food and the bar has live music on a Saturday night which is also very good. I rented a motorbike which was very handy from the accommodation which was convenient and a good price too and they also provide a good laundry service. The upstairs area at the front was good for chilling out with a nice view of the lake. I would definitely recommend and would stay again. Try the Tuak when you're there - it's the local palm wine.

Santi Garden Bungalows ligger i Iboih, 2 minuters promenad från Iboih strand, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en egen strand och en terrass. The room was clean, had a very comfortable bed and a beautiful view from the patio. They have a little harbour where you can swim from. It’s possible to rent snorkel-gear from the cafe next door.

Super happy we stayed here. Very beautiful and clean cottage directly in front of a private beach with corals and lots of fish. Perfect for snorkeling and you can rent masks there. The restaurant was also great with nice staff. Borja and his wife super chill and helpful. Fully recommended!

Tailana Island Pulau Banyak ligger i Alaban och har en trädgård, en egen strand, en gemensam lounge och en terrass. Everything except the price for just one person lol and the long distance to get there (also expensive just for one). The place is sustainable, simple and basic in order to protect the island and the corals around. Yet, it has everything you need! The place is beatiful , the island is beatiful! The staff is amazing. Michael, the diving instructor, is amazing. His boat "Karolina" is super! You can even take your open water course there or do a liveaboard. Good spots to dive and snorkeling. The food was Great... with simple things they do amazing dishes. The pizza night is really good! Tailana will be in my heart forever.

Orangutan Bungalow ligger i Bukit Lawang och erbjuder boende med utsikt över bergen samt gratis cyklar, en trädgård, en terrass, en restaurang och grillmöjligheter. Det finns gratis WiFi. The staff was amazing ! The bungalow was the cherry on the cake , it was just overlooking the jungle. I would like to say thanks to the kitchen staff for cooking us delicious food. Big praise to Robin for giving us the best entertainment and for welcoming us like family. I want to deeply emphasize that the tour guides engaged by this bungalow are professionals. Amir , our three day jungle tour guide gave us the best information and routes in the Jungle, we managed to see most of the animals that we dreamt of seeing! The food in the jungle was amazing ( thanks dian and hendra). Moreover , the night hike was phenomenal as well , it was conducted by Ipul the "Snake man", the legend himself ✌🏽✌🏽. I deeply recommend it 👍🏽👍🏽..

Sahnan Guest House ligger i Bukit Lawang och erbjuder boende med trädgård, terrass och restaurang samt gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. Läget var bra vid floden, nära många restauranger och lätt att ta sig runt till fots i byn och till naturstigen som leder till en fin badplats där tubingen brukar starta. Ett familjeföretag med väldigt hjälpsam och trevlig personal, Andri fanns alltid tillgänglig före och under vår vistelse, bokade våra transporter och trekkingen. Vi hade en fantastisk en dags jungeltur och forsränning med Jhoni och Emri, vi såg bl andra Thomas Leaf Monkey och flera orangutanger. Enkel standard på rummet men rent. Trevligt med en liten egen uteplats med hängmatta och liten grön trädgård framför rummen. Frukosten var te eller kaffe och valbar frukosträtt från menyn med olika slags omeletter och pannkakor, allt smakade jättebra.
