Set 2 km from Alberobello and in a typical Apulian trullo hut, Dimora Sumerano offers rustic style accommodation with a patio. The bathroom is complete with a hairdryer and a bidet. Everything was nice. Very beautiful place, and all facilities were available at the accommodation.

Parking is onsite, and also they provide the parking place near the beach and that is super comfortable, sunbeds and umbrella on the local beach are also provided by hotel. So, I think for that price the service is great. Rooms it seems were renovated recently, the city center is 15 minutes by foot, so in general we had a pleasant staying.

I had long wished to spend a night in a trulli house, and this one was more than a dream come true. It’s authentic and traditional, yet equipped with everything a modern traveler needs. Above all, it was pleasantly warm, which is especially important in December. The bedding smelled wonderful, and the fact that I slept for more than 9 hours says it all — you truly sleep like in heaven. The location is excellent: only a 10-minute drive to Locorotondo and a bit more to Alberobello. I will definitely return.

Just 5 minutes' walk from the Padre Pio Sanctuary in San Giovanni Rotondo, this 4-star hotel features a restaurant, and a spiritual centre with 2 chapels and a convention hall. Excellent hotel, right below the Sanctuary. It's a steep climb but short, especially if you find the shortcut. The receptionists (who mostly spoke English) and the cleaning ladies we would meet in the hallway were so lovely and nice. The room was clean and spacious and the small fridge was great to have. The bathroom was clean with plenty of towels. We don't stay at hotels a lot so not sure if that's common but there was a room with an iron and ironing board which was very handy to have (and it had a schuko socket unlike the room). Breakfast was very good with a variety of offer, and lunch was very affordable and delicious! We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again!
