A sparkling white and very bright room on the first floor. Spotlessly clean and absolutely immaculate. It had 2 of everything, wine glasses, mugs, plates and cereal bowls, a kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge. Super comfy bed, good quality bedding and towels. We both agreed that it was perfect. Sometimes you find, one glass, poor sheets and towels, not quite as clean as you are used to at home, a bit dark, too far to walk etc.

We booked our car in for a week while we travelled to NZ, we arrived with a whole day to waste before our flight, well what a wonderful surprise the VIP lounge in the undercover carpark was amazing, comfortable couches, free internet, toilet access, free luggage storage, Wow!! we sat and made some overdue phone calls and sorted our warm clothes to put on before our late night flight, we booked a room for the night we returned at 8am so once again we changed out of our NZ clothes sorted our luggage and relaxed while we waited for our check in which should have been 2pm but as soon as the rooms had been cleaned and checked we were allowed to check in to sleep, the room was beautiful, so clean with everything you need, we even got a ice tray from the reception, again amazing!!!! we have told so many people about this amazing service, 10 minutes from the airport, shops and restaurants within walking distance a pool for summer stays WOW!!!

The room was clean and tidy, the facilities in the room were great, comfy beds and a good shower.

New managers are very friendly and will go out of their way to help. The old place is very charming, particularly the living room on the first floor.

The one-bedroom cabins are newer and more comfortable, the air conditioning working well and the cost-benefit was worth it. Private cabins with great contact with nature. I will be back again!

Everything required for a great stay was there and it all worked properly. Nice and private with good parking and close enough to everything in Townsville.
