The location is superb; it's practically downtown the Rodoviária (bus station) is almost across from the hotel, and it's very near the Mercado Público, where you can go shopping for souvenirs or simply grab a beer. From just outside the lobby, there is a great view of the bay and the lovely Hercílio Luz bridge. Also, they have a collective of restaurants and bars right next door, called Armazém Rita María, which is quite lively and slightly upscale. The staff was quite friendly and helpful.

It was really a great surprise the location near the beach, and the quality of the building and apartment, including lift, garage and other services such as roof top and bar in the top floor. Special thanks to cleaning ladies who were always available. The owner of the apartment was also very nice and polite.
