Hotels with Pools in Monkey Fall

The lodge is in the middle of the jungle. You wake up with the howler monkeys, you can have breakfast with the hummingbirds, you can go tubing on the river, visit the farm, make an excursion, and have a night walk to see all the creepy creatures of the jungle. For an ecolodge, the rooms are equipped very well. You get towels for muddy shoes, you have umbrellas, you have a lot of fans, you have good Wifi, you get a flashlight and even a mobile phone. Huts have mosquito nets, but outside insect repellent might occasionally be necessary (not always and not everywhere though).

Friendly staff who went out of their way to make us feel welcome, very clean and spacious apartment with little touches such as fresh flowers, beautiful gardens with wildlife, nice pool to relax in at the end of the day. We ate at the on site restaurant and enjoyed a good local meal.

My experience at this hotel fulfilled all my expectations! The staff went above and beyond to look after me . My room was beautifully clean comfortable … the location and ambience of this hotel is quite special … definitely worth it ! The on site guides and drivers in particular Santos really made my experience even more special by showing me wildlife I would never have seen otherwise ! Thank you !

We had an awesome stay at the lodge! Everyone is super friendly and so helpful! They can organize and book many tours for you or just recommend things to do. The room we had was very clean and the food at the restaurant is great! The pool was refreshing! The lodge is directly next to the Mayan ruins Cahal Pech, which is definitely worth visiting! Highly recommended!!! You can see and feel that the lodge is maintained and led with love!

The location on top of the hill meant that the views during the day and at night were quite beautiful. The restaurant food for breakfast, lunch and dinner was very good - tasty, well presented and quite good value. There is also the option of the hotel next door for an evening meal. The hotel is only a very short walk to the impressive Cahel Pech Archeoligical site where you can easily spend 2 hours exploring. Being on top of the hill it required a VERY steep hike back up after checking out the town centre. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Wonderful stay in an oasis of calm outside San Ignacio. Thoughtfully furnished villa that gave us everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We particularly appreciated being delivered the ingredients to cook our own bbq one evening - lovely touch.

Ronnie was great at reception, very helpful and a pleasure to talk with. He also gave me his personal number in case i needed anything while i was out in town at night. The location is great, check in was easy. Communication throughout the booking was always on point.

We had such a wonderful stay at Las haciendas. Our room was incredibly comfortable, spacious, and very well equipped — everything we needed to relax after a day of adventures. The highlight was definitely the pool; it was beautiful and refreshing, the perfect way to end the day while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The atmosphere was calm and inviting, making us feel right at home. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting San Ignacio.

Back home again we have so great memories of our nice stay at Yuma’s Riverfront Lodge. We enjoyed so much everything, well decorated and clean cabanas, the sound of nature, the wonderful terrace to relax, the refreshing swimmingpool, delicious breakfast, …. You feel like far away from everything but close to the city, restaurants, etc. Just book it, you will not regret it! Thanks Christelle and we wish you all the luck for the future!

Absolutely beautiful property just a few minutes from town. It is right in the middle of the jungle and very private. The private pool and balcony overlooking the jungle was a real bonus. Very spacious and has everything provided (bath towels, pool towels, bathroom toiletries, all kitchen gadgets, tea, coffee etc). Washing machine and dryer was very useful. Air conditioning was great. Hadas and David couldn’t do enough to help and had lots of info, they were really quick to respond to any questions and very friendly. Would highly recommend!

The location is perfect. Private setting close to the cities. The owner was very attentive and the property comfortable and clean. Would return again. Loved it !!!!

Clean rooms with all the basic comforts for a lodging that is designed to meet travelers needs. Convenient stay if you are visiting the western part of Belize. Good restaurant serving breakfast and dinner, pool to cool off after the excursions. Management is super hospitable and they will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable! Allen and Diane are a fantastic team - this is a family run business and they are keen to welcome you. For those traveling to Belize, please don’t visit if you are expecting high end luxury- this is where you come for adventure and history.
