It was exactly what it promised to be: A nature resort in stunning surroundings

The staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. They thought of little things in the room that helped make our stay easy like salt and pepper as well as oil for cooking. The onsite restaurant was fabulous. Ray gave us a wonderful cooking class. The service and quality of food was second to none in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. The night hike was great and also very informative, although my husband found it a bit physically challenging. Wilder (sp?) was very passionate and knowledgeable about birds, animals and trees and other vegetation. We learned a lot on this hike. He knew that I wanted to see a toucan and cane to find me when one was visible. He is an amazing asset to the team. The grounds are lush and beautiful. Waking up to the birds every morning was like heaven. Luna the little cat visited us in the mornings on our shared deck. She is very sweet. Thank you so much! We would definitely go back if staying in the San Ignacio area again!

My experience at this hotel fulfilled all my expectations! The staff went above and beyond to look after me . My room was beautifully clean comfortable … the location and ambience of this hotel is quite special … definitely worth it ! The on site guides and drivers in particular Santos really made my experience even more special by showing me wildlife I would never have seen otherwise ! Thank you !

A wonderful place surrounded by nature, where you can enjoy beautiful birds and breathtaking views. The room was very clean, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. We had a lovely experience and hope to come back soon!

Las Haciendas was amazing, the stuff was incredible and polite and the place outstanding. We had an amazing experience there, highly recommended for your stay in San Ignacio!

The rooms were cleaned beautifully each day. The pool area was excellent and the restaurant was delicious and all of the restaurant staff were so lovely. Excellent location, easy to walk or taxi into the main city whilst being removed enough to be in a quiet area.

The villa was beautiful with great views and the location is super quiet in the middle of the jungle. If you do not have your own car there is an option of taxis arranged by the hotel staff to take you to town. The staff were amazing, booked all our tours which you will get cheaper than when booking with tour companies and the guides were great. Beds were also super comfortable.

Luxurious stay by the river. Don't be shy to ask for pickup by the owner in a 4x4 if your vehicle can't make it on a rainy day. It is worth the effort. The lodges are superbly furnished.

Absolutely beautiful property just a few minutes from town. It is right in the middle of the jungle and very private. The private pool and balcony overlooking the jungle was a real bonus. Very spacious and has everything provided (bath towels, pool towels, bathroom toiletries, all kitchen gadgets, tea, coffee etc). Washing machine and dryer was very useful. Air conditioning was great. Hadas and David couldn’t do enough to help and had lots of info, they were really quick to respond to any questions and very friendly. Would highly recommend!

The location is perfect. Private setting close to the cities. The owner was very attentive and the property comfortable and clean. Would return again. Loved it !!!!

Clean rooms with all the basic comforts for a lodging that is designed to meet travelers needs. Convenient stay if you are visiting the western part of Belize. Good restaurant serving breakfast and dinner, pool to cool off after the excursions. Management is super hospitable and they will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable! Allen and Diane are a fantastic team - this is a family run business and they are keen to welcome you. For those traveling to Belize, please don’t visit if you are expecting high end luxury- this is where you come for adventure and history.
