Pictures do not do this hotel justice - it’s a quiet and beautiful oasis in the middle of cancun, located very centrally. The room was clean and had nice thoughtful finishing touches - bathrobes, bedroom slippers, incense, candles - just the sort of things we love at any accommodation. We were greeted very graciously and shown to our rooms, and the hotel also helped facilitate arrangement of transport to Chichén Itzá which was fantastic. Our only regret was not being able to stay for breakfast since there are so many good reviews about it - but we’d definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Cancun!

This property was easily the best all inclusive we have ever stayed at. It's truly a 5 star, from check-in, to rooms, pools, great restaraunts. (Union Steakhouse was amazing and Gabriel Yam was the best waiter I have ever encountered). The spa was excellent, the place was always being groomed and cared for. I have to commend whomever is hiring and training the staff, they were all so friendly and engaging and excellent at their jobs, it was most impressive. We are going to stay there again in the future, it was just that good. Congratulations to the team at SLS Playa Mujeres, well done, you made us feel very specials during our stay.

I don’t remember in my life staying at a hotel with such a dedicated and competent team. May this message be passed on to all the staff. Good location, close to the center—if it can be called a center—since the hotel area is a long stretch with malls, restaurants, and other amenities spread across different areas. However, the hotel is in a good spot, right on the beach with turquoise water (facing the sea, not the lagoon). There is also a nearby bus station that runs through the resort, and there are restaurant options in the area. The hotel was clean, well-ventilated, and free from dampness, which is common in much of the area. It offers a beautiful view and amenities such as water, coffee, utilities, daily cleaning, comfortable beds and pillows, an iron, a hairdryer, and a safe. We even had a large terrace. The staff were very friendly and even allowed us a late check-out. The breakfast was extremely varied. It was safe, no issues.
