Wonderful hospitality from the staff till owner—helpful, informative, and genuinely kind people. A clean and safe, beautifully decorated hotel. Very good internet connection and parking available on the hotel premises. Delicious breakfast. They also have an outdoor swimming pool.

The location, the comfort, the cleanest, the quality. Please, just mainatain this level of quality.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Retreat Cameroon from 10–12 August 2026. It was a peaceful, homely, and enjoyable experience. I was very satisfied with my stay. Although I initially booked for one night through Booking.com, I was able to extend to two nights by contacting Retreat Cameroon directly; the process was easy and the staff were very cooperative. The staff, from the gatekeeper to everyone else, were warm, professional, and helpful. The environment is beautiful, calm, and surrounded by nature—perfect for relaxation. We also appreciated the clean, well-maintained space and tasteful interior decor. The location is secure and convenient. We highly recommend Retreat Cameroon and would gladly return.

Nice staff. Place was easy to locate

Fabulous peaceful comfortable haven of rest. Loved the pool, YouTube on TV, and breakfasts.

Very comfortable and clean, nice and spacious room, breakfast and restaurant are good and the staff from the hotel and restaurant are very friendly and competent. Air conditioning works well, and wifi is a bit on the slow side but functions well and consistently in the room.

The utilities provided were all reachable

I stayed here for 1 week with my partner we both absolutely loved our experience we would highly recommend this hotel. It was extremely clean outstanding customer service looking forward for our next visit

Location is great, staff is friendly. One incident I had, staff offered to call me a cab driver at the reception right when I told them I was calling one already. My guess was that it was hotel transportation and free. Just for the driver to charge me and he was even so rude. Staff should tell visitors if a service is free or not and not assume we know especially after I told them I was already getting one.
