Location is great, staff is friendly. One incident I had, staff offered to call me a cab driver at the reception right when I told them I was calling one already. My guess was that it was hotel transportation and free. Just for the driver to charge me and he was even so rude. Staff should tell visitors if a service is free or not and not assume we know especially after I told them I was already getting one.

way of transportation is very easy and accessible , yango is everywhere . no fixed exchange rate , and no specific place to change money , its almost along the roads in some area , the safety is not high at all .no international restaurants , just some local restaurants that serves local dishes

Yaounde has a lovely fresh weather, nice food, friendly people, a very good Cultural franco camerounes center in downtown. The bad side of Yaounde is the so frequent elec tric blackout , thus better stay in appartments which have solar panels, and the lack of coins money of small size in general.

There are no real nice sites to visit or those what we visited were in very bad shape. The traffic and streets are in terrible conditions, there is a huge smog along the streets, you can see the clouds of smog, there are no traffic rules people would keep, motorbikes may come from any directions, it is a miracle how they survive it. We found some kms of better roads but they are eceptions. All richer sites are sorrounded by high walls and fences since the security is a big question. If you are not surrounded by local friends what we had, it woud be even worse. This country needs a lot of money to develop. Rubbish transport is not done therefor there are rubbish nearly everywhere. Most people are very kind and they live in deep poverty. I was warned several times to pull up the car window not to let any people steal anything. International reports are true unfortunately.

Yaounde is a wonderful crazy place full of people from all walks of life. The shops and markets range from tiny little stalls, to large modern shops. I would recommend caution when out and about after dark, although I personally didn't experience any problems or feel particularly unsafe. Eating out can be anything from a roadside stand or mobile barrow, to a high quality restaurant. Prices tend to be quite cheap. Beware, the traffic is horrendous and crossing the road can be extremely risky.

Very nice hotel for the price paid. The staff are friendly and always willing to help, even with things beyond their usual duties. The front desk team kindly helped me find some local coffee at a nearby supermarket. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices, and the hotel is ideally located.

The hotel is clean and very good condition. Rooms are really nice with staff being very friendly. Also internet is running relatively stable, which is pretty uncommon in Yaoundé. Breakfast is nice and plenty while lunch and dinner options are affordable and of good quality.

Great hotel for a very, very good price. facilities are basic but certainly ok, the staff however is really excellent, Tabi at the reception is very kind, attentive, professional and helpful. He is exceptionally bright and helps guests where he can.
