Absolutely fantastic, the cabins are lovely, bed comfy and the owners first class. The restaurant has great food and is brilliant value. We sat out the front of our cabin and watched toucans flying in and out of the trees! Howler monkeys in the background. Breakfast was an added bonus. Brilliant value for money, we would have paid more. We could have easily spent a few days just sitting watching the wildlife in really comfortable surroundings.

We had a very good stay at Hotel Suerre. We were quite surprised to be honest as did not expect it to be so being quite cheap in price. We stayed at Hotel Suerre as a small stop while travelling from the Pacific to the Carribean. The breakfast was good the rooms clean and spacious, the facilities were very good. There is also a slide to the pool and a small playground where my children could enjoy themselves. Very equipped gym, good jacuzzi etc etc.

This place is really lovely. Great for kids - the little pool and trampoline made a massive difference for my 4 year old! The dinners are really nice and good value. The staff are helpful. Adrian the owner has done his best to preserve the area for wildlife and rescues sloths in trouble, who you may see about. A huge family of howler monkeys visited daily to eat from the trees :) I came without a car and it was hard to get about. Taxis are really expensive and you have to negotiate. Uber doesn't reach there, though there are some buses around. Bring cash and better still book direct !

From the very beginning, communication was very easy, and they were proactive in responding. Pablo welcomed us warmly, the house is large and beautiful, and the kitchen is very well equipped. We loved it, and it was very convenient for going to La Pavona to catch the boat to Tortuguero. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.
