This place is a true paradise! You’re surrounded by lush jungle, with monkeys playing in the trees, yet you get to enjoy a beautifully designed cabin with all the comforts you need. Even the WiFi was excellent for working remotely. The hosts were incredibly kind and thoughtful, paying attention to every detail and sharing great tips to make our stay even better. Getting there involves an off-road path that can be a bit steep at times, but the hosts' clear instructions made it easy to find this hidden gem. We would absolutely recommend it!

We enjoyed very much our stay at Coco Beach Village which is located just 1 minute (by walk) from amazing Matapalo beach. Our room was spacious, very clean and all rooms are overlooking the beautiful garden with the nice pool. The owners David and Roja are both lovely. David even showed us the sloths on the beach and organised surf lessons with a great instructor. It is very quiet and perfectly located to easily reach all attractions of the surrounding (for example Manuel Antonio and Marino Ballena national parks) or just to spend a relaxing beach day (my wife got a 1 hour massage from a lady directly at Matapalo beach which was fantastic). In addition, also the breakfast was very nice.

This place is just wonderful, a wonderful feeling of home, the owner Esteban and his wife Stephanie were so nice and helped us with everything we needed, we had a breakdown with the car, they came to pick us up in the pouring rain and took us everywhere we needed, those people are just amazingly nicest people we've met in Costa rica... the rooms are clean and there Hot water, there is delicious coffee in the morning and a really homely feeling. The pool was clean and the girls just had a lot of fun .absolutely recommended!!!!

We stayed here with for a full week in a double queen room. This room was superior to other accommodation nearby with a great shower, 2 queen beds, a lovely balcony and amazing views of the pool and jungle. The mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable. This is a family business with Carlos and his wife doing the early shift and son Charlie taking over in the evening. They are all lovely and so helpful from day 1 through to day 7. Nothing was any trouble for Carlos or Charlie and they regularly alerted guests to wildlife passing through. We saw a sloth, Jesus Christ lizard, kingfisher, woodpecker, scarlet macaws, blue morpho and large yellow butterflies, iguanas, squirrel, capuchin and howler monkeys, centipede, frogs … all over the space of a week on the grounds alone! Chillax Bistro is just that, chilled quality dining to the sounds of the jungle. Breakfast was amazing as was dinner and the menu for each was superb. We found the quality and presentation of food on the premises beat most other places and was competitively priced. We didn’t have a car during our holiday but it was easy to walk down the stony track about 7 mins to the main road where the frequent local bus takes you anywhere in Manuel Antonio or Quepos for 400 colones (under $1). Be prepared for howler monkeys announcing their presence early morning! You wouldn’t come to Costa Rica if you didn’t enjoy being surrounded by wildlife. It was thrilling hearing them. We highly recommend Riverside and if we ever return would stay here again in a heartbeat. On the long journeys home now and missing it already.
