Staff were lovely and helpful and provided vegan choices of houmous and olive oil instead of butter - and was great some other sweet choices that we did not need - for breakfast. In addition there were red and yellow peppers, tomatoes, walnuts, pumpkin & chia seeds, oats and sunflower seeds. The houmous was so delicious that we feel sorry for other guests! It could perhaps be offered as standard - the climate crisis necessitates a move away from meat and dairy products, towards plant-based foods.

I get to speak at least three of my languages everytime we stay at Hotel Sonneck. The staff is at the same time cosmopolitan, professional, and warm. We love everything about this place and frequently recommend it to our closest friends and family.

We went for an overnight visit with our son who loves to swim. The spa area was outstanding. Lovely indoor pool and small heated outdoor pool. We had a great time! We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The food was outsanding. Best steak I had in a while and the buffet was most satisfying as well. Breakfast was most generous, varied and simply 1A! Would visit again at the next opportunity.
