Really good bed. A lot of space everywhere. Cute houses near the pool to sit and enjoy a drink with a view of the river. Good breakfast. Restaurant also good.

The property is perfected located for exploring the National Park of Els Ports and has stunning views of the mountains from all the rooms and from the terrace. The house is a very pleasant space to relax in, being simply but elegantly decorated and very quiet - there's no traffic going past and I think the loudest noise would have been the wind at night, except on a couple of days there was a clothes market announced on the village tannoy. I loved the ceiling fans, which seem like a more sustainable alternative to air conditioning and the mesh at all the windows meant there was no problem from mosquitoes. The village also has an outdoor pool just a short walk away - on one of the occasions we used it we had it to ourselves.

Boasting a restaurant, La Alquería is situated in Ráfales in the Aragon region, 46 km from Els Ports and 41 km from Motorland.

This was a really nice find. It's a boutique hotel, clean, warm (in december). Everything was great, food was terrific, it was silence (even if the hotel was full). They have really good wine. Breakfast was all local and plentiful. They sure cook with a lot of truffles. Sun comes in the morning over the valley and during breakfast, through the large windows, it was quite the scene. Overall a VERY good experience, and i'm not saying this lighlty. We ended up leaving with some local bottles of wine (they sell the wine they produce as well, not only for the restaurant). What i appreciated most was the reception and the staff (!!), they took a lot of time and patience with us, given some of our special requests. Top marks, will come again.
